Really not sure how this is a dermatologist recommended product. I bought this face wash about a week ago and returned it today. After using it for about three days, my face was dry, burning and patchy. My skin literally resembled that of someone having an excema outbreak. It took nearly a week for the patchiness to clear up and now I am left with more acne than I started with. I will be going back to Proactiv- I guess this is one of those instances where you get what you pay for. If I could give this 0 stars I would.

I used this product for one day and on the second day my face got extremely itchy and red. Today when I woke up, it's dry, peeling, tight and still very red and itchy! I have stopped using this product and won't try it again! I will keep using other Neutrogena products but unfortunately this one isn't for me!

Does Not Work! I been having breakouts, I use neutrogena body clear body scrub with no problems! So, I thought let me grab a bottle of this stuff . I Should have did more research upon it . I used it for one day , morning and night . Seemed to be fine, used it the next morning and my face was soooo itchy! As I started to look at my face I noticed small rash like patches around my nose, mouth and jawline . It’s been a day without using it and I am very red , and extremely itchy! Please use with caution!

i started using this product about 3 weeks ago when I started I felt it was cleaning my skin like my skin was soft but it wasn't smooth yet.. I used it for a week or two and I did the same routine over and over again 2 times a day everyday then some of my break outs started turning red so I stopped for a day . Its great but isn't the best .

I have mild acne, but there are times where is flares up pretty bad (maybe 8or so pimples on my face). I have really sensitive skin, so I was hesitant to buy this product. I can say that it REALLY works though. As everyone stated above it does dry out your skin. BUT if you use a moistureizer right after, you skin will be completely fine. I use the Neutrogena Healthy Defense Daily Moisturizer SPF 50 or an Olay moisturizer. It just depends on the day. But if you dont have a moisturizer, or dont plan on buying one than I would not reccommed this product. Otherwise, its great and you should not pass this product upm because my face feels sooo soft ever sense ive been using it, which is about a month now.

A few years ago I have really bad acnes on my face, this product is very convenient because you can use it not only on your face but your back and neck too. However, the thing I don’t like about this product is it takes away so much natural moisture on my face, and it makes my oil skin even worse.

This Neutrogena face wash is a essential to my skin care routine. My daughter and I use this face wash and both of us have sensitive skin so certain washes can break us out or just do nothing at all, but with this face wash out skin is always clear with no break outs from acne or rashes...never too oily or too dry just right. I love the price and the longevity of each bottle. It takes a tiny dime sized amount to cover and clean your entire face.

This is the only soap/acne wash I have found that works for my skin. I have been using it since I was a teen. I'm 28 now. My skin type is combo and I get mild acne. I love this wash and if I use it every day I stop getting zits and my skin looks better over all. I'm so glad I found this wash as a teen and am glad I can still get it now!

I have you been using this formula for years. These are just like you buy in the store excepted a better price. I’m not sure how this product works for moisturizing but I do have sensitive skin and it works fine on my skin. Makes it clean with no leftover residue.
