I really love the packaging of the product and the color. Neutrogena oil free face wash has been used for years in my family and everytime I come to travel I use this face wash and it really make my skin feel feel smooth and clean. It's very gentle and great for people with absolutely sensitive skin. #Neutrogena ♥️

When I was a teenager and had horrible hormonal cystic acne this did nothing. Now that I'm in my thirties I have more sensitive skin and just occasional breakouts this is nice in the summer. Gentle and doesn't really smell like anything. Cleans well without stripping just don't get it near your eyes. If you have sensitive skin on the oiler side and occasional breakouts this is nice. If you really struggle with acne this might not be strong enough, though I have used it as a gentle acne cleanser when on harsher treatments like retinol. Dermatologists recommend it for those reasons, and my derm recommended it to me. It's a good price and while there are generics I feel they are watery and don't clean and foam as well as the original. I have taken a star off because CeraVe just released a new acne cleanser with the same amount of salicylic acid and it's bigger so a better price. It's too soon to know for sure but I might like it better, I'll update this review and review the CeraVe cleanser in a bit.

When I first used this product, my skin felt so soft and a couple of my big, cystic pimples went away within a week. But as I continued to use this product I noticed that my cheeks and nose were starting to break out really bad and that has never happened before. Such a waste of money.

This is supposed to be an acne oil, free face wash, and my husband loves it to help with his acne that he gets where his beard grows. But I actually really love it to keep my face nice and soft and oil free. I don't have any facial acne, but I use it often to make my face feel much less oily. Highly recommend.

It's a good product it just the results take time the sent is fine it works good just takes time my skin feels a little dry after using the wash but I have very dry skin anyway it takes a lot of different products to use for my skin type over all Im fine with it I will use it again it's a little pricey but I will buy it again

This is the most powerful acne wash EVER. This stuff will completely remove any oil from your skin and clear it out, but the problem is, it's just too strong for daily use. I actually use the regular Neutrogena facial bar on a daily basis. If my skin begins to feel oily, then I'll step up to the Neutrogena "Deep Clean Facial Cleanser" and if necessary I'll also use that with the "Clear Pore Oil-Eliminating Astringent". Normally, that's enough, but if, and only if, that isn't enough, I'll use the "Oil-Free Acne Wash". I can only use this product maybe once or twice a week, and that will do the job, in conjunction with the other products. I could never use it twice a day as directed, but that doesn't mean it isn't a good product. I read some of the other reviews and I sympathize with those that may have developed a rash from this product. The first time I used it, the same thing happened to me from following the directions, but I did figure out how to use it, and it does have a permanent place in my normal skin regimen now.

i just tried this product today & used it as soon as i got home. it seemed to work really well to take off the skin care products i had on, but my face was extremely dry and stiff after using it. i have tried their “morning burst” exfoliating cleanser as well and had the same result. i don’t know if it’s just my face being weird though lol. it also contains cocamidopropyl betaine which is derived from coconut oil soooo uhm wyd neutrogena???

This was wayyyy to harsh on my skin and left my face incredibly red and tight, almost to point of feeling burned. I'm sure that it works amazing for someone out there so definitely try it for yourself to see if it's right for you, but doe me Ive never purchased since that first experience and would not buy in the future.
