This Neutrogena oil free acne wash is one of the few brands that will always have my loyalty! This and black African face soap are literally the only 2 cleansers I use! It has kept me blemish free for almost a decade! I use it at the end of my shower once the warm water has opened my pores. You only need a little bit, foams easily and smells lovely!

I have found this product on the clearance aisle before. It does control breakouts and the only downside is that it does make your skin dry but I feel like that's the point of this product because it is oil-free. The cost of this product is within someone's lower side of a budget and that works for me.

A dermatologist also recommended for a weekly peel or if experiencing a bout of blackheads to leave it on for 10 minutes - works wonders! I use this product in the morning, before l put on my makeup and at night before l go to bed. My face doesn’t get irritated with this face wash. I put very little on my hand and it’s enough for my big face. I’ve noticed my skin looks clean and smooth. This product works for me. I might work for you as well.

If there’s excess drying, I would definitely cut it back and avoid your eye area. It’s a good, inexpensive face wash.
