It caused my skin to go completely dry and irritated, my skins different and this stuff did not help at all. I was in so much pain and red that it felt like I got sunburnt and then stung by wasps. The smell was terrible. It smelled like I was putting metal cleaner on my face

I have a strict skin care routine to care for my oily skin and decided to switch up my face wash due to hormonal acne. This product left me with more acne than i started with and think the products irritated my face because now i have dry patches on my eyelids and my chin. Very overdrying you can feel your skin getting dry and tight immediately after washing it off. The salicylic acid did nothing to combat my acne prone skin, used it twice a day for 3 weeks.

This was my very first cleanser ever when I first started breaking out back in middle school and it is definitely great for a beginner in skincare. Though there are better alternatives out there this cleanser is not too bad and the salicylic acid is great for acne prone skin. Just be mindful that salicylic acid can dry you out if used too often.

I do have sensitive skin, personal it burned my face and game me red blotches on my face and didn't clean it clear my skin. It did have a good sent and nick packaging; this product is avoidable. But I do not recommend if you have sensitive skins, everybody's skins different so it came work for others especially if lower price range.

I bought this product after my sister starting using it. It works great for her, so I thought I'd give it a try. I have been using Proactive for 3 months and that has been working great but I have been looking for a less time consuming and expensive face wash. After using this for 2-3 days, a rash appeared on my face. I had small bumps which you couldn't really see but when you would tough my skin, it would feel like a dry and tough. I don't know whether to keep trying this product or to keep looking for others.

I started washing my face with Neutrogena Oil-Free Acne Wash in high school. Like every teenage girl I was trying everything I could find to keep pimples to a minimum. For me, the solution was this face wash. I used this formula exclusively for over a decade and I can say that "break outs" were never a problem. Also I have notoriously sensitive skin and so the formula is not harsh. Aside from a little dryness there was never any irritation. When I started using it I was in high school, I worked in a pizza kitchen, and I played soccer. So I had hormones, oil, and plenty of heat and sweat to combat. Not to mention all of the make up teenagers experiment with. Then into adulthood with greasy fast food, tons of stress, and hormonal fluxuations... I had occasional pimples but that would happen using any product. I'm much older now and my skincare needs have changed, but I will always favor this face wash. Just writing this review I can smell the light, clean fragrance and feel the thin, fluffy lather. It might be weird but I really do love this product!

It was an affordable to buy any store. As free using it, it's helping my son's face, it helps yo control the breakouts. Keep is face dry and clean.

Neutrogena acne wash is just what acne girlly needs. It helps me control oil and reduce acne. It takes a bit but very much suitable for acne prone skin. It help me clear my skin upto 80% . It is budget friendly. I have been using it since 10 years. It can't switch to any other acne wash. Trust me it is very effective. Suitable in every weather.

i have been using this product for over a month and i have noticed significant changes in the oiliness and redness. This product worked fast and effectively. I was very impressed with the speed of how quickly this product worked. I was only using it as a night wash and every morning woke up with a clear and with a much smoother face. Also I noticed that it calms the skin decreasing the amount of redness throughout. I 100% approve this cleanser .

This product leaves the skin feeling rejuvenated and refreshed. It leaves the skin feeling soft and clean. Does not leave any traces of oil or debrief from the night/day(depending on time of use). Overall a great product and recommend for a lighter face wash.
