I barely started using this product for 1 week now and the results are amazing. I rarely get acne now and when I do the white heads are so small now! One down side is it leaves your face dry but that’s easily fixable with some lotion that does not clog pores! I used proactive before and it’s nowhere near as amazing as this product, thanks neutrogena for helping me regain my confidence by helping me fight my acne!

it lately has been making my skin super i rested. it’s been burning and hurting and i have to sleep through it for it to stop. it makes my skin dry and tight so when i go to put moisturizer on it to make it ease, it just makes it worse. i do have sensitive skin, so it may be the issue, but i wouldn’t recommend.

Wow, I have been buying expensive cleansers for acne and this one actually works even better. The only downfall is that it can be a little drying, but for me it took about 1 month of use until I noticed. Also bear in mind that I use a salicylic toner and spot treat with benzoyl peroxide. My skin is pretty oily and needs a stronger regimen. If you have young skin like in your teens just use once a day, make sure you spend about 1 full minute cleansing. Studies suggest most people only cleanse for 10 seconds...then rinse rinse rinse! I worry that some people with the reactions might not be rinsing enough and that with dry you out and irritate!! Anywho, I love this cleanser, A++++++++

This is a great product for skin with acne. The scent is light. It washes gently and leaves skin feeling soft. It works in a couple of days for severe acne. It doesn’t cause severe dryness or peeling like other harsh washes. I highly recommend this!

When I was a teenager and had horrible hormonal cystic acne this did nothing. Now that I'm in my thirties I have more sensitive skin and just occasional breakouts this is nice in the summer. Gentle and doesn't really smell like anything. Cleans well without stripping just don't get it near your eyes. If you have sensitive skin on the oiler side and occasional breakouts this is nice. If you really struggle with acne this might not be strong enough, though I have used it as a gentle acne cleanser when on harsher treatments like retinol. Dermatologists recommend it for those reasons, and my derm recommended it to me. It's a good price and while there are generics I feel they are watery and don't clean and foam as well as the original. I have taken a star off because CeraVe just released a new acne cleanser with the same amount of salicylic acid and it's bigger so a better price. It's too soon to know for sure but I might like it better, I'll update this review and review the CeraVe cleanser in a bit.

I loved this oil free acne wash, it help me get rid of some of my stubborn acne that just wouldn’t go away. At first you do get more acne, but that is just all what you had. Believe me when I say it works miracle’s! I would highly recommend this acne wash.

This is the only face wash I will use I love this face wash! After using it, my face feels clean. It helps keep my acne down to a very minimum. I recommend this product to everyone who asks what I use. I also have sensitive skin. This product does not complicate that at all. My skin was always bouncing between being too oily or too dry. I tried so many different face washes and moisturizers but my skin either remained the same or got worse. Eventually, someone told me about this oil-free wash. I tried it, and after only a few days, I saw a HUGE improvement. I would recommend this product to anyone who breaks out daily.

I’ve been using this since grade school… and I am now in my thirties. I never had an acne problem (though this could be why) but when I do breakout , I get those under the skin , and not ready to pop yet type of pimples. If I wash with this , it brings them to a head next day if not gone.
