This stuff really works!! I have oily skin and my break outs are really bad. This treated my breakouts almost entirely after like 2-3 uses. But it does make your skin a little dry and for me it burns. So I would reccomend getting some type of mosturizer or something to use afterwords. Also, I would say maybe only use this once a day...or use very little when you wash your face. This stuff is better than clinique 3 step acne treatment hands down. This is also very cheap compared to other acne treatments.

I don't usually write reviews, but I'm trying to be better since I rely on them so much. I've been battling acne since I was in 6th grade (I'm now 26 years old). I had it pretty much under control with oral medication and topical gels. I noticed since I've been home in quarantine that I still get breakouts here and there, but my chin always has little oil filled bumps. I thought maybe adding the Salicylic Acid would help round out my skincare routine. NOPE. I noticed that even after the first use that my skin felt extremely dry. Immediately the next day I was flaking all around my mouth and chin. I thought maybe my skin just needed to adjust, but after using it 3 times, I just don't care enough to keep trying. My skin is so dried out, not even my Hydro Boost Extra Dry moisturizer can help (which is also a Neutrogena product -- but one that I swear by). I have sensitive skin, so I should have known better. So if you're a fellow sensitive skin friend, I would use extreme caution. I'll stick to my gentle cleansers and using Differin a few nights a week.

Ok, I have mixed emotions on this product. I am a teen going through mild teen acne. I bought this product for my irritated red bumps on my skin. Good news: The bumps were immediately calmed after one day, and invisible by the next, but that's the only good news. Bad news: Once the bumps were gone, I still had mild whiteheads. The wash did absolutely nothing to them! I was SOOOOO disappointed! To be honest, they created MORE whiteheads! I washed my cheeks with the wash, hoping the so called "micro clear" technology would make sure I got no pimples on my cheeks from now on, since Neutrogena says the wash doesn't clog pores. 1 day later, 2 PIMPLES APPEARED THAT WERE NOT THERE BEFORE! I was so confused. This product also has given me an irritated rash on my jawline. Disappointed.

This is the best face wash. I wet your face. Put half a pump of product on your hands. Wet your hands & lather that stuff real good. Massage it to your wet face for about 30 sec. Rinse with cold water. It’s the number 1 dermatologist recommend. Highly recommend this to everyone!

This is a great product for someone who definitely has an oily face. Personally, it wasn’t the best for me for the simple face that it does make my face itch afterwards, but aside from the itchiness my face feels amazingly, smooth and soft, and it helps my acne in the long run. If you don’t mind a few minutes of itchiness after washing your face with this, it’s definitely a good product. But if you have very irritable skin, I wouldn’t recommend.

I used this Acne wash for years. It's a great cleanser, kept my acne at bay without being harsh and completely drying out my skin. It's so affordable. I only stopped using it because I'm always trying new products and have some new holy grail cleansers but I would definitely purchase it again.

I got this face wash and body wash thinking it would help my middle age break outs. Please be careful when you use this product especially on your young kids. I used the face wash one time. My face felt funny all day burning and tingling. My daughter asked if I had got into a fight because my eye was swollen. Once I examined my face more closely I noticed I also had a rash all over my face. When I woke up today my eye was still swollen with rash and very itchy. Please be very careful with using this product I think it is very strong. I will not be using more of this and I will not be trying the body wash I have as well. Im quite scared to give this away so I may be just throwing it in the trash. There goes my $.

I bought this product a week ago and have used it 3 or 4 times (once a day). I use no other type of face wash or makeup or product on my skin besides a face lotion i’ve used for years. My skin is currently extremely dried out (way more than usual) and burns when I put on lotion now. It feels like sandpaper and it’s leaving patches of dry skin that’s peeling.

So i started using this a few weeks ago and I love it; my skin is oily/combination and it helps with the oiliness and it helps with the oily face and does dry our your face but it dries out your acne/pimples quickly too so I just like to use a moisturizer on the side whenever my face gets dry.
