I started using this product due to commercials and I've done some research before purchasing to find out if salicylic acid really does get rid of acne. I have acne on my temples, my cheeks and chin and after using this product for about a week, I noticed that my face started to become really dry but the acne is still there. I thought it was working, since Salicylic Acid dries out pimples. However after a month of using this product, my face became super dry with the same amount of pimples I had before using this product. Quite dissapointed.

So I started using this stuff last Sunday and it seemed fine! It made my skin feel fresh and nice! Acne started to fade the next day! I followed the directions, using it twice a day. But around last night after I put it on, my skin was itching and started to burn kinda! I didn't thin k much and put it on again this morning. Gah! My skin was burning nearly ALL day and I felt like my face was rubbed against concrete! When I looked in the mirror, I noticed my skin was getting bumpy! I noticed alot of reviews said the same thing, so how is it 'Number 1"? Please, Neutrogena, help us out! My skin is still burning and its been over twelve hours! Not using it again! I just need a wash to actually work. My face needs to cool down.

I purchased this for my daughter prior to starting school since it says dermatologist recommend. Since having to wear a mask at work all day I decided to use it. My face is in so pain. It is dry red and seems to have a chemical burn. It has been 3 days with no relief. I am hoping it will heal soon. My husband also is having extreme dryness as well.

This stuff works wonders on my acne and keeping my skin clear and fresh. Theres a fresh orange scent to it which wakes me up in the morning, it's almost like a gel texture but then foams up. I like leaving this on my face for Abt 2 minutes before washing it off to really soak it in . I've been using this stuff for a while now I'm almost into my 4th bottle

Great product, I love how it makes my skin feel. Very refreshing. Especially for people with oily skin. I would really really highly recommend using this product. It works great especially during the summer time when your skin is very oily from sweating. I wish I would’ve known about this product before I developed acne in my earlier years, but since using this product, my acne has cleared up tremendously.

This is great for unclogging pores or if you are prone to clogging. I use 2 or 3 times a week to help maintain my pores and this is a must have in my arsenal of skin care. This is very effective so if you are not prone to pore clogging this is not for you. I use sunscreen and makeup every day so this really cleans out what can build up over time. I do not advise that you use this every day because that may not be necessary for your skin. With any active ingredient go slow and determine what works for you. This is very effective for my over 40 yr old combination skin. FYI I use once a day 2 to 3 times a week for tight clean pores and I do not use 2 days in a row. This works and can not be without this.

This worked absolutely perfectly for me. It left my face feeling clean and refreshed and got rid of any pimples that popped up very quickly. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone with oily skin, however, I would not recommend it to people with dry or sensitive skin because my sister has really dry and sensitive skin and she tried using it and it irritated her skin and dried it out even more. Overall, a really good product!

I’ve been using this product recommended by my dermatologist for years and it’s extremely effective at keeping my breakouts at bay. The scent is on the medicinal side but that doesn’t bother me. The salicylic acid and other ingredients are effective and not overly drying.

I am in my early 20s and still experience some acne on my face and chin. This is a great, inexpensive go -to cleanser to clean your face and get the job done. Keeps my acne under control and removes the make-up on my skin. I use it about once of twice a day, every day of the week and see results.
