I was out of my normal Mary Kay facewash so I decided to use this Nutrogena Oil-free facewash (some that my husband had on hand) on Saturday night just to wash my makeup off. I used this only ONE time. HUGE MISTAKE! The next morning I slept so long and hard but it wasn't until the SECOND morning-- on Monday morning around 6am-- that I woke up so uncomfortable with itching and a rash on my neck, burning and raw skin around my mouth, and rash beside my eye. Later that day and the next day, my face and eyes continued to swell up. My face was so red, the texture turned from rash to like a chemical burn. It hurt so so bad that I had to keep Vaseline (petroleum jelly) on my face and did not want to be seen by anyone! I had to miss work. I looked so horrible with a rash and swollen face. I looked like a monster. It hurt to talk and eat due to it stretching my burned skin. It is now Wednesday night and I still have flaky skin on my face covered in Vaseline and a rash and burning still on my neck. I'm taking pain meds and Benadryl and keeping hydrocortisone cream and Vaseline on it and waiting for my skin to heal! Hopefully back to normal! Worst feeling ever.

So i started using this a few weeks ago and I love it; my skin is oily/combination and it helps with the oiliness and it helps with the oily face and does dry our your face but it dries out your acne/pimples quickly too so I just like to use a moisturizer on the side whenever my face gets dry.

It's too drying for my skin type. the scent is really strong and irritated my skin. Combined with the salycylic acid, it just made my skin dry, flaky, and red. Will never buy again. Probably would work for those with very oil, and tough skin that isn't sensitive

I know this brand has a lot of skin cleaning products, but I would like to recommend this one. I always use it to wash my face at night ( I like it because it mas a good amount of foam and it does not irritate my skin) I did not know how important is to keep the skin clean to avoid black points or acne and this product has help me to keep my face as smooth as possible. Give it a try, you will love it

I bought this b/c I was out of my regular cleanser of clinque and wanted something quick I could pump and go with after two days it had burned my skin. My skin around my mouth is completely dried as if it has been severely burned. It hurts when ANYTHING touches it and only feels good when holding a wet rag on it. I have never had any skin product react to me this way. I have NKA. Use this product at your own risk!!

i liked this product a lot. i unload boxes from trucks all day every day, (except for my days off of course), lol)) i swear a lot and i get acne like crazy and this product has really helped. it's easier to apply and use and it has pretty much solved my problem !!— NO MORE ACNE—!! 😁

I bought this awhile back when I had a small pimple or two and once the pimples are gone I placed it under my sink and never used it again until I used new facial product - Kiehls. I have sensitive skin but each time I introduce my face to different products - mostly high end, my face turns into feeling like sand paper. Same thing happened with philosophy. I ended up going to the doctor and ask for cortisone lotion. This time I didn't go to the doctor... instead I grabbed the Neutrogena oil free acne wash. Lo and behold after 2 days my skin is back to normal. Now I use it more than the high end cleansers I have. For cleansers I currently have DHS, Kiehls, Mario Badescu - I love some of their products, dermalogica, Clinique. I've used dermadoctor cleanser and lotion made my face so soft and hlowy except they're too expensive. Facial lotions I currently have: Neutrogena hydroboost -love it, Kiehls, derma e and Mario Badescu. I love Olay pro x also but it's discontinued. Eye cream: Kiehls, Olay pro x, Neutrogena hydroboost, Toners: Kiehls, simple, Mario Badescu - I don't use toners all the time. Like dermatologists say you don't have to use high end products to have good skin.

Hello everyone, I am not one to write reviews but I strongly discourage anyone from using this product. I have oily skin and have never had an allergic reaction to any face product. Not only did this skin care product give me nose bleeds, dry out my face, make my hair line itch, and give me red skin, but it also managed to break my neck out in contact dermatitis. I had to go to the hospital after this allergic reaction to this product. I DO NOT recommend this product and hope this helped some people steer clear of this face wash.
