I used the product morning and night and about 3 days later all my acne was basically gone, but after I continued use I noticed my face began to feel rough to the touch. I thought it was because weather was changing my skin was just drying so i began to use some cetaphil gentle moisturizing after washing. Soon, my skin began to peel and it was not from dry skin it was because the top layer of my skin was beginning to BURN off. DO NOT USE THIS!!!

Omg I love this product... my face was breaking out all the time but not anymore the only time my face breaks out now is when my monthly is about to come, which is natural.. but after that when I use the oil free acne wash: they r all gone!! Im telling u people, it really really really works!! It's great! I was going to stop using it after the first 3 days I started.... Because every time when I washed my face with it, it felt uncomfortable..my face would feel smooth but rough & dry at the same time, so I wanted to give up.. but my mom encouraged me... She was like, no don't stop keep using it, it'll come around great results don't come that quick u have to keep washing ur face with it for at least 2 weeks and then see what will happen. and I listened to her, good thing I did!!! My face is sooo much better now ... it's smooth/ beautiful acne-free... I don't regret buying this I need to get more now, no more using soap in my face!!!

I have SUPER sensitive skin, so some cleansers just make me breakout even more. This did not do that, and my acne started to go away. However it dried out my skin like crazy! So much that I actually got a rash from it and it hurt. And after a few uses, I ended up having an allergic reaction to it and it made my face swollen! So if your skin can handle it, use this product. If your skin is sensitive, do not use it.

I bought this just a few days ago in hopes that it will be a great addition to my skin care routine to help ease my acne, but this has caused my skin to look worse than it has been looking ever since I started to really clean my skin. My skin has been looking better than ever UNTIL I started to use this product. I have a rash and possible chemical burns considering how PAINFUL my face feels. I am so scared that it will get worse. I urge Neutrogena to look into all of these reviews saying we got burns and think about fixing or simply removing this product from shelves. I am so angry that my face hurts THIS bad from a product and I wish I could get my money back.

Neutrougena oil-free acne Wash is a good product to have on hand for the whole family to use. My son is 17 and at the age of major acne breakouts, and my husband gets breakouts when he’s stressed out (so often 😉😂) This works Well enough to help keep the breakouts under some what control. This keeps skin moisturized, clean, and semi breakout free. There are definitely better products on the market but this one has a great price point, it’s easy to find, and smells fresh (not girly) so my son and husband prefer this over other brands I will always keep this on hand. It’s a trusted brand and works just the way it’s supposed to, I’d recommend it to anyone.

Used this product once and I woke up with my face covered in hives. I skipped class today because my face looks so terrible. It's dry, tight, and flaking. All I wanted was a product that would clear up my acne and acne scars because I didn't want to be self conscious anymore when walking around without makeup on. Instead, i got this mess. Everyone's staring at me like I'm a diseased person. This sucks so much. I had such high hopes.

This Neutrogena face wash is a essential to my skin care routine. My daughter and I use this face wash and both of us have sensitive skin so certain washes can break us out or just do nothing at all, but with this face wash out skin is always clear with no break outs from acne or rashes...never too oily or too dry just right. I love the price and the longevity of each bottle. It takes a tiny dime sized amount to cover and clean your entire face.

I bought this as a cheaper alternative to other products I use as it had the same active ingredients. I used this product for less than a week and it destroyed my skin. I woke up to redness that refused to go away (looked like I stayed out too long in the sun), whiteheads EVERYWHERE (never struggled with this before), and itching/burning constantly. The dryness that followed was unreal (and I have horribly oily skin normally). I have never dealt with such bad skin texture and acne as I did when I started this product. I threw the full bottle away and will never purchase again. I've used Neutrogena many times in the past and never had issues like this so I'm not sure what happened.
