I used this product awhile back when I was having bad acne flare ups and it really helped clear my skin. The ingredients weren’t harsh on my skin and a lot of things tend to break me out since I had sensitive skin but this worked great for me. Price is perfect for any age too I got this in middle school and continued to use it all the way up into high school.

I randomly decided I wanted to try a new cleanser. I’ve done Accutane 2 time about 4 years ago for cystic acne, and have since only gotten the occasional pimple. Now that I wear a mask everyday at work, I’ve been getting more acne around my chin and jaw line. I normally just use Cereve foaming cleanser, which is very gentle and works well. With the increasing breakouts, I wanted something with an acne medication like salicylic acid, so I decided to give it a try. The first night I used it, I woke up and my skin felt pretty good. It even looked a little more clear. Day 2 was fine, a little dryness. I woke up the next morning and went to work. As the day went on, my cheeks felt hot and a little itchy. Next thing I know, my entire face was broken out in a rash that would not go away. Red, painful and bumpy. Tiny whiteheads everywhere. I tried cold compress, Benadryl, hydrocortisone cream, moisturizer, calamine lotion, etc. over the course of 3 days. It just got worse. Now, day 4, it is finally drying up. Still extremely dry and flakey, but the bumps have gone down. Worst reaction I have ever had to a product. Or so I thought. Until I remembered about 4 years when I used Neutrogena pink grapefruit wash with the EXACT same reaction, only slightly more mild that time. These products need to be taken off the shelves. After reading reviews of both this cleanser, and the grapefruit one, I don’t know why it would even still be sold in stores. Do not bother using this product. Stick to cetaphil or cereve. I will never make that mistake again. If I could give zero stars, I would.

I kept seeing and hearing great things about this cleanser, and by my math it would be cheaper than what I was currently using. After a couple months though it became very obvious that I needed to go back to what I had before, or something similar. My skin gradually got a lot worse, and I made the mistake of thinking I did something else wrong, like using a towel that was washed in a different detergent than I'm used to, and it just got terrible. What I realize now is that the active ingredient in this is salicylic acid, but of course you're instructed to rinse this off when you're done. What I used before this was a wipe with salicylic acid, that you did not rinse away, but instead left to dry on your skin. For my specific body chemistry/skin type leaving it on and not rinsing it away works better. I can easily see how someone with more sensitive skin might not be able to tolerate the acid left on the skin by the wipe, and therefor this product would be better for them. That's why I'm not saying Neutrogena is a bad brand, or that it doesn't work, just that it doesn't work for me. I have pretty oily skin, almost greasy, but still pretty sensitive, if this sounds like you, I'll tell you I've had the most success so far using YesTo tomatoes charcoal bar soap and the same brand wipes (red pack/white wipes, NOT black pack/charcoal wipes). Also 100% pure fractionated coconut oil (MCT) is a simple and amazing moisturizer that doesn't make my skin feel nasty on the rare occasion that my skin gets dry (the charcoal bar soap I mentioned earlier can dry the skin a bit and make it itchy too) Good luck out there, I truly hope you find the product(s) that eliminate your acne and allow you to live blemish free.

When I first used this product, my skin felt so soft and a couple of my big, cystic pimples went away within a week. But as I continued to use this product I noticed that my cheeks and nose were starting to break out really bad and that has never happened before. Such a waste of money.

I have used the face wash and it’s very effective on my skin plus it’s not scented so it doesn’t bother my skin The package tells me all the information and what is in the product. The texture is very smooth and it is very soft on my skin. I always get the value for what I paid for.

This face wash really works to clean stubborn pores, makes your face feel refreshed and smells great. Love that it’s oil free it helps with break outs and helps prevent break outs. I use this to wash my face after using make up wipes to get the residue off.

So my skin is usually a soft texture, and when seeing this in my bathroom, I decided to try it out and prevent any acne. Well, it works, but after a while, my skin felt different. When my hand touched my cheek, it was rough and felt flaky, but when I scratched at it, nothing came off. It may work, but it dries the skin and gives it a coarse texture.

I enjoyed the clean fresh almost nonexistent for a grants it didn’t dry my skin out my skin felt fresh and clean and it did a wonderful job on my acne I used it for many years I would absolutely suggest this to anybody who wants just a clean fresh acne wash in it without all the extra fragrance and extra hoopla

This is a product that has been around since the 80s. As far as what I know, I don't think that the formula has changed very much. It is inexpensive yet effective for what it does VS. Deparment store brands like Clinique and Lancome for similar products. I think it definitely holds its own . It also has salicylic acid which is good at fighting acne and bacteria. So, it has been in my aresnal on my rotation since my teen years.

So the first day I used it my face felt great ! Then Day 2 came and I used it once again and realized I was starting to get weird bumps around my mouth and on my chin so I immediately stopped using it ! It’s been 2 days Since I used it and my face looks terrible the skin is cracking and extremely dry ! I have to lay on my back because it hurts to lay on a pillow with my face ! So angry and mad that I wasted my money ! They need to take this off the shelf seeing so many people have had this same exact experience! I feel like I have a really bad sunburn !!!!
