I don't usually write reviews and try to be positive when I do but my face and neck are in so much pain after a couple uses. I used this same product when I was younger and trusted this brand and with acne issues still in middle age, I decided to try it again. This time has been pure misery. My face dried out so severely it's flaky, the irritation and redness is down my neck. I am constantly moisturizing with black seed oil and coconut oil but they can't even relieve the pain. I have even been using benadryl. On day 5 of severe discomfort. Possibly a bad batch or using bad ingredients? Either way throwing new bottle in trash and never using again.

If you’re struggling with acne this is a great basic cleanser with 2% salicylic acid. I use once daily at night along with a gentle cleanser in the am and it keeps my skin clear and free of breakouts. We recommend this cleanser all the time at my dermatology office.

I use several different Neutrogena products. This face wash does wonders for hormonal Acne and minor breakouts. It's great quality, affordable and long lasting. A little bit goes a long way. It's strong enough to alleviate your Acne but still pretty gentle.

I really love the packaging of the product and the color. Neutrogena oil free face wash has been used for years in my family and everytime I come to travel I use this face wash and it really make my skin feel feel smooth and clean. I really wanted to like this product but it dried out my skin and it made me break out. I recommend using something that does not have salicylic acid or is just gentle on the skin instead like the Cetaphil cleanser or the survey those never break me out and they do a really good job of removing all the make up. Neutrogena makes great products, but I think this one is a pass.

My son is a pre-teenager and start to have a Lot of acne on his face. I have brought Neutrogena oil-free acne for him to wash his face. I also used it too for my daily face wash. It was an affordable to buy any store. As free using it, it’s helping my son’s face, it helps yo control the breakouts. Keep is face dry and clean.

I have combination skin but more on the oily side. I have been battling with acne since I was 9 and I am currently 17. I've tried other products (proactive,clean and clear etc) but this face wash has worked the best. I use this every day along with the blackhead scrub. It gets my face clean and smooth. I haven't had a breakout in about 3 weeks now and I usually breakout every week.

I started using this acne wash this week and within a couple days, I'm already seeing results. I have mild acne and occasionally white heads develop, and I've never found an acne wash that will clear pores and fully reduce my acne. I wash once in the morning and once before bed, and although this wash does dry out my skin, I simply apply a thin layer of moisturizer and I've found that that does the job. My skin is noticeably clearer and my break out is under control.

The bio-oil was actually a good product but over time my acne seemed resistant. However, I am glad to report that I won the war. Well, somewhat. If you have had any experience with adult acne you know it isn’t an easy thing to shake off completely. But the worst is surely behind me.a

This is absolutely the worst face wash i have ever used. I tried this in hopes to clear up my problem areas on my cheeks, and it did the EXACT opposite. Three times after using it, i got a RED RING round my face where i placed it. This product dried my face out so much that I am literally flaking, cant put any product on my skin without it BURNING and it made my acne worse. I got little white bumps everywhere. Feeling my face makes feels like bumpy dry road. I NEVER had sensitive skin until i started using this. DO NOT USE. This is so terrible i have to go to a dermatologist, nothing over the counter will fix how messed up this made my face. This should not be allowed to sell.
