I recently started breaking out more than I ever had so being that neutrogna is so highly praised I decided I would try 5his acne wash. I haven't had it a week and my chin and areas around my lips feel as if they are on fire! My skin is so dry,red, and sore to touch that I cant even wash my face without grimacing. Eating has become a task as well since the area that is burnt is around my mouth!!! Needless to say I wont be using it anymore and I'm fearful to use any other neutrogena products!!

I used this cleanser twice and my skin is now completely ruined. The first day my face felt clean and tingly and I continued to use it the next. My face then turned as red as an apple with little bumps all over it. It feels like I'm running my hand over sandpaper when touching my face. The cleanser also caused very deep wrinkles on my eyelids as well as under my eyes. My entire face hurts so bad to move. Feels like I have an awful sunburn and my chin is now starting to peel. I would never recommend this product to anyone.

This is the only thing that's changed in my skin care routine. I've been using it for about 4 days. My skin type is on the oily side - and i almost always have smooth skin, especially cheeks. My problem areas are my chin and forehead. Since using this, my skin has been completely dried out on my cheeks and chin to the point where moisturizer doesnt even work. It feels rough to the touch and has begun to crack. I've used neutrogena face washes before but this one has severely damaged my skin.

Been using it since the days of my teens. Trusted for many years and always will. I've tried many brands of face wash across the shelf, but nothing works for acne better than Neutrogena. They perfected the formula with this one. Visible results in days and the results remain as long as you continue using it. Works on acne quick!

I bought this for my daughter. She used it three times and her face and eyes swelled up red and burnt. Doctor said it’s a chemical burn. Prescribed steroids and Vaseline. Very frightening experience. This is not fit for purpose and must be removed from sake immediately. There are thousands of complaints all over the worked about these Neutrogena salicylic acid products. Highly dangerous. You will end up in the emergency doctors. It’s unethical that it’s on the market .

This is a standard item that most teenagers should have in their cabinet. I used to use this regularly as a teenager who battled acne, its mild and effective. I no longer use it as my skincare needs are different, but would recommend this product to anybody battling acne.

I bought this product coz I have oily face and few acne scar. I used this product for 2 days and after that My face got so red and had rashes. I had to stop using this product coz it makes my face worst. Before my only problem are few acne marks. Now, I have redness, rashes and itchy face. I dont know what to do. Wont ever recommend this.

I tried this in a sample size at first. Here's what I think: The Smell: It doesn't smell all that great but not bad either, reminds me of baby bath products. The Price: The price isn't too bad, kind of expensive but most cleansers are more. Application: It felt nice when I put it on, my face felt cool after applied before I washed it off. It was easy enough to use. Skin Results: My skin felt perfect! Right in the perfect zone between not too dry and not too oily :) I also just felt so clean.

When I was a teenager and had horrible hormonal cystic acne this did nothing. Now that I'm in my thirties I have more sensitive skin and just occasional breakouts this is nice in the summer. Gentle and doesn't really smell like anything. Cleans well without stripping just don't get it near your eyes. If you have sensitive skin on the oiler side and occasional breakouts this is nice. If you really struggle with acne this might not be strong enough, though I have used it as a gentle acne cleanser when on harsher treatments like retinol. Dermatologists recommend it for those reasons, and my derm recommended it to me. It's a good price and while there are generics I feel they are watery and don't clean and foam as well as the original. I have taken a star off because CeraVe just released a new acne cleanser with the same amount of salicylic acid and it's bigger so a better price. It's too soon to know for sure but I might like it better, I'll update this review and review the CeraVe cleanser in a bit.

I grew up on this Neutrogena facial cleanser ever since I was young & it has been one of my staples growing up that was a must have in my bathroom for face washing. I love everything about it and it just makes my face feel so smooth and clean after each wash.
