I actually really love this wash. I know for some people it can be a little drying but it worked well For me. There is no fragrance and it lathers very nicely. I always make sure to follow up with a good moisturizer just to make sure it doesn’t leave my skin feeling tight.

So this was my first time buying their face wash, I've used other stuff before but nothing quite like this. I have a recurring acne problem and I thought this would help me when all else failed. Well, I was wrong. The first time I used it, my skin felt squeaky clean and tight and I thought to myself: "This might just work." However, within two days, my skin turned into a COMPLETE MESS. I broke out around the mouth, chin and jaw and I NEVER break out so close to my lips. My skin peeled off, especially around my nose, eyes and temples. My eyes can barely open from how tight the skin is. And this is with just 4 WASHES. My skin has never felt this bad, not even from tret or any other acne meds. I am in pain, discomfort and even more self-conscious than before. Even moisturizer and vaseline won't work. I don't know what to do now. Thanks, Neutrogena. I am never buying again.

I like anything with a lather, I just feel so much cleaner! This product. Dries up my oily skin and its oil fee for entire day. It leaves my face feeling tight and clean. It also removes my eye makeup w/o drying out the skin around my eyes .................

Well a bought this product 2 weeks ago. The firs time that I used my face felt so clean and fresh so I started to used before I go to bed and in the morning when I woke up but a the 3rd day of using it my skin around my mouth started to fell itchy I though because the weather was changing so I continued to uses my now that I have a week of using this product my skin around my mouth is all dry it feels terrible my skin is red if you don't want to have this feeling don't buy this product. TERRIBLE NOW I NEED HELP WITH MY SKIN EVEN MORE

I have always used Neutrogena products. They’ve always proven to be very effective. A very silky smooth texture is very nicely. Sent it safe ingredients to use on sensitive scan. It comes in nice packaging. The ingredients seem to be very mild for any type of skin. You’ll never go wrong with using any of Neutrogena products whether it’s Eye wipes, facial makeup remover you cannot go wrong.

I have used this product for many years,and it never fails to work.Judging from many reviews here,I don’t think it’s understood that salicylic acid is meant to gently exfoliate the skin,and dry up existing lesions.In the middle of that exfoliating, whatever’s under the skin may come up,so sometimes your face will seem worse before it improves.That’s often true when fighting acne,so patience is key. Next, PLEASE do your research on salicylic acid based products and the side effects. It isn’t advised to use them with other acne products,and sun screen while you’re using them is a must. Lastly, those of you who may be experiencing burns could very well be using the face wash more often than your skin can tolerate.Because of the exfoliating properties, salicylic acid DOES sting. Using the face wash every OTHER day is a more common sense application for sensitivity. Neutrogena’s Acne Wash can and does work, if you’re willing to follow directions and use good sense.
