I purchased this product about a week or so ago. First use was good. Nothing happened the next day. However, the day after the second use, I noticed that my cheeks were really ichy. Then I realized that I had little weird bumps all over my face. I had some acne on my cheeks and forehead but my skin was smooth other than where I had the acne, so I easily noticed the change. My skin is usually oily but this product dried it out. I have skin falling off from my nose and cheeks. I hoped this was just a side effect before the results kicked in, but even after a week my skin condition just gets worse. All I wanted to do was to clear my skin from my mild acne. Now not only did I waste my money on this, I have to do something about my dryed out breaking out skin on top of the acne I already had to worry about. It said it was #1 recommended. That's why I chose it but I wish I didn't. Thanks a lot.

This product kind of suprised me, but in a good way. I am a young teenager and, I guess you can't say my acne was horrible, it just looked like small bumps scattered across my forehead. I have literally tried everything, even the Neutrogena Facial Bar and that's when I gave up on Neautrogena until my mom bought me this cleanser. After... I want to say three days, I have seen my acne get smaller and smaller and its amazing. I also have combination skin and so this does tend to dry out my cheeks and chin, but really I just put some moisturizers on the dry spots and I am all good to go:)

I went to my dermatologist 3-4 years ago, and he recommended Neutrogena for my skin problems. I had previously used Neutrogena in my younger years with no problems. However, when I restarted using it a few years ago, it made my face as dry as cement. I had to start putting lotion on my face, and it still was dry and hurt. Then, I started having dark patches and flakiness on both sides of my mouth near my chin. This is simply embarrassing. I am brown-skinned with dark patches on my face. I spent more than a year going back and forth to the doctor, trying various kinds of medicines to combat this problem. And yet, it is 2018, and I still have the dark patches. Seeing all these negative reviews - which are real by the way - should have prompted Neutrogena to investigate and stop selling this product. However, all they care about is making money. I would give this zero stars. Neutrogena messed up my face.

Hello, i am writing this with all positivity on my part because of how great and wonderful your products have worked for me in the past and how i have always came back to Neutrogena for a product i needed when it came to something for skin care. Recently about 4 days ago, i bought a regular size bottle of your oil free acne wash, the orange wash. Before that, i was using clean and clears orange exfoliating cleanser with the beads and since i needed a new one due to running out, i decided to grab this Neutrogena one. I have oily skin and saw that it had salicylic acid which is probably why the old one i was using, wasn't working for my acne. In the beginning, this product has made my skin not oily which was a good start for me on the first day. Then by the 3rd day, i noticed that my face started to have red patches. I thought it was hereditary because my mother has it as well when she uses new products. I thought it was just my skin starting to get used to it. Well the 4th day which was yesterday i woke up with my skin feeling very tight, and very painful to the touch almost as if i was literally in the sun all day. So i didn't wash my face with it at all, and after my shower i put aloe vera gel for sunburns all over my face because i do not have a moisturizer. It worked for a bit, but it still had a tight feeling. I was so excited to give this product a try considering the fact that i read nothing but great reviews about how people with oily skin have used it. So i gave it a try and i would like to keep using it because it has made my skin not anymore oily and that is what i loved about it, but i would like to note what it did to my skin and if i should keep on using it and if i do, will it damage my skin? Please get back with me when given the chance because i truly love your products and would have loved to have left a great review on this product as well. Thank you, Katarina.

Well I am 14, so as a teen I know how hard it is to fight acne. for about a year now I have been getting really bad acne on my face, and I used proactive for a while but I just didn't like having to do three steps to get clear skin, but otherwise it worked really well. The only thing that kind of bugs me right now is that I have a sun burn and it kind of stings when I use it, but that will go away! Neutrogena's oil-free acne wash has made my skin smell good look good and feel good! And with only one bottle.

I have used this product for 20 years, morning and night. I am 57 and if I eat the wrong foods I would get breakouts. Using this product has kept my skin completely blemish free. I love how clean it makes my skin feel before I moisturize and use serums. I don't travel anywhere without it.

I have been using this brand for years, super effective cleanser. The scent is pretty average but you don't want anything strong on your face. The texture is nice and smooth and the price is super affordable. Packaging has always been the same, nozzle hasn't changed. Why adjust a good thing?

I moved to a hot and humid part of the world and began suffering from random breakouts along my chinline. I tried a few expensive products from department stores but didn't get any results. Last resort... Picked up neutrogena acne wash at the supermarket and its worked wonders for me. Skin cleared up after 5 days. Haven't had another build up of spots for over 2 weeks. Some very small pimples still dotted about but it's a major improvement and it isn't sore. Just remember to moisturise after you use it.

So, I've always had a problem with acne. This has been a product that I have used for as long as I can remember. I use it twice a day as directed. When I wake up and once before bed. I love the easy-to-use dispenser. I do recommend that you start off with once a day to make sure your skin can tolerate the cleanser that often.
