The Neutrogena Acne Face Wash is a decent product. It does a good job of cleansing the skin and helping with breakouts. However, I found it to be a bit drying, especially with daily use. It's important to follow up with a moisturizer. The scent is also quite strong, which might be bothersome for some people. It's effective for acne control but not my top choice due to the drying effect and scent.

I use this everyday while i shower to wash my face, i’ve been using it for years, the smell is nice , it’s very effective it works fast you just have to be very constant with using it . the ingredients aren’t too harsh on the face at all and it’s very affordable. i highly recommend

I used it for the first time just under a week ago, and the skin on my face hasn't been the same since. I have other neutrogena products that I've used for months and I've never reacted to any of them before. It has gone down a lot in the last couple days, but when I used it my face dried out far too much and nothing I tried would fix it. My face also became red, extremely itchy, tight, and I actually have more acne than I did before. I don't know if this is a common thing that happens when you first use it or not, but this is what happened to me.The price was great and I'm sure it works for many other people! See if it works for you, I'm not going to tell you not to use it because it didn't work for me.

I have been using this face wash for years and it is amazing! It works great on combo/oily skin or for breakouts. I will say that during cooler months, I generally cut back on using this from daily to 2-3 times a week to avoid drying. If you consistently use this when your face is dry there is a good chance your face will become irritated. Knowing and understanding how to use this product is key. It has 2% Salicylic Acid which gently exfoliates the outer layer of skin while helping to minimize breakouts by cleaning out pores. I would not recommend this for sensitive skin. If you try it, I would recommended using it in tandem with other face washes until you see how your skin works with it. If you notice redness or peeling, take a few days off, you’re over stripping your skin. Again, great for oily skin!

Great cleanser to keep in your skincare arsenal when you really want a deep cleansing like in the shower. I personally don’t use it everyday as the ingredients dry some areas of my skin out but its price is so reasonable that it has been a tried and true.

Was looking for something for my maturing oily skin. This face is very gentle and seems to help keep my face from being too oily, while not drying it out. I like the smell, it’s very light. My only complaint is it doesn’t lather up very much. Will be buying again.

Initially I was amazed by the results I received from the first use. My skin looked visibly brighter and clearer. However, after the third wash I begin to notice dry patches sprouting on my face. I use moisturizer everyday but its not enough to quench the thirst this product leave skin in. :(

I bought this product less than a week ago and used it 4 times before my skin started turning red, itchy, and bumpy. I wake up with my eyelids extremely swollen every morning and my skin burns throughout the day. This has been going on for 2 days and I’ve completely stopped using the product. I don’t typically have very sensitive skin to new products so this reaction is extreme for me. I’m not sure why this product is on the market when numerous people have had the same reaction!!

This was the first Neutrogena product I’ve used, not thinking twice about it cause I thought it was such a good brand. However after using it once it broke me out bad. Got small little irritated bumps and dried my skin out completely. And don’t forget to mention, ITCHY. Will never use again. If you use, read ingredients and watch customer reviews on YouTube. I had to go to doctor for this so use with caution..

Since I have oily skin, I’m always looking for products that leave my face feeling hydrated without the extra oils. This item is perfect! Bottle size is great can be kept in shower or on bathroom counter. Don’t need a lot for a wash so the bottle can last a while making the price you pay worth it.
