If you are in the market for a salicylic acid wash this is a good one. It's pretty basic, nice soapy scent (not perfumey.) I used it for a long time. It's a bit drying now because the water where I live is so hard. It removes dirt/oil well and light makeup, but you'll need a remover if you wear anything heavy or long-stay. Would be nice if it had some soothing and moisturizing ingredients like aloe or hyaluronic acid. Just leaves my skin too dry. It's a good wash for teens or anyone with mild acne close to the surface. Be aware that all salicylic acid products can cause an initial breakout but it typically passes.

First of all I absolutely LOVE this product! I don't wear any makeup on my face except for mascara & lipstick & my daily sunblock (which is probably why my face is so clear# but I still have combination skin, meaning oily & dry but Neutrogena has always helped my skin be as beautiful as it can be and control it all. I've been using this product #along with many other Neutrogena products) since I was in middle school & now I am a freshman in college and because of my daily routine I have very clear, soft, smooth skin for someone who comes from a family where acne is a HUGE problem. I do stress very often, I am human you know? I breakout just like everybody else. But mostly when I do it's because of obvious reasons, that time of the month, & when that time comes it's quite a few breakouts on my forehead & cheeks. & let me tell you, last month I had what was probably the worst breakout in my entire life! With all this weather changes & extreme humidity my skin became soo unbalanced but because of this product my acne is WAAAAY under control now. No redness, irritation, blotchiness, unevenness of any kind. I feel like single pore has been washed out completely every single time I wash my face with this! & I love to apply my On-The-Spot acne treatment after I'm done cleansing. It's unfortunate how this doesn't work for everyone but I'm glad it works for me! Thanks to Neutrogena everyone is ALWAYS complimenting my on my beautiful, clear skin, BEST PRODUCT EVER!!

I'll start with my skin type. I have a very oily tzone and minor breakouts on my cheeks and chin. I bought this product on Sunday and used it that evening. I continued to use it twice a day I did see a different with the few pimples that I had they dried up pretty quick so I was happy to see that. By Wednesday my face felt awful! my cheeks, around my mouth and chin were/ are really dry and it burns and itches. So bottom line I do not recommend.

I love this product not only because it makes my face feel super clean. It removes my make up and the texture when applying is very nice consistency isn’t too runny and it doesn’t burn your skin. Works great for combination skin. I live in Florida, so at times my face can get extra oily in the summer but a little dry in the winter and this product doesn’t disappoint.

I have been using this product for seven days. It has made my skin so dry and pealing...At first I thought that this the way its supposed to work, but after rereading the back of the product it clearly said "does not dry up skin" so I panicked! My face hurts, and its itchy, it even hurts to smile and open my mouth sometimes. I'm very disappointed with the product!

I bought this product a few days ago broke my skin out in hives itchy bumps all over my face. My skin is so dry it hurts to move my cheeks around. worst product I’ve ever came across and I have tried so much!! I wish I would’ve read the reviews before seems like this is nothing new with this product. I’m afraid to put anything on my skin right now I’m not sure what is going on with my skin!! & this is for acne?!? No ma’am!!

It's a great product. Althought it has slow results when it comes to removing acne, it does help greatly with oily skin. It makes my skin dry but there's nothing that a little moisturizer can't do! I have extremely oily skin and I'm happy that it dries it up. The smell isn't overpowering but it still smells good and very refreshing, especially in the morning.

I use this everyday while i shower to wash my face, i’ve been using it for years, the smell is nice , it’s very effective it works fast you just have to be very constant with using it . the ingredients aren’t too harsh on the face at all and it’s very affordable. i highly recommend

I love this wash! My acne problems include blackheads, minor blemishes, and oily skin on my cheeks, chin, and nose. I have used the wash twice a day for about two weeks and I have already noticed a difference. The only problem with this wash is that it can be a little overdrying around my forehead and the bridge of my nose. I really recommend this product for people with minor acne.
