This is my review of Neutrogena Oil-Free Acne Fighting Facial Cleanser, 2% Salicylic Acid Acne Treatment, Daily Oil-Free Acne Face Wash for Acne-Prone Skin with Salicylic Acid Acne Medicine, 6 fl. oz Using this product in my cleaning morning / evening routine for years. It contains 2% salicylic acid and some plant ingredients. Making light foam with water Gently cleans by penetrating into pores. Eliminate oil & unclog pores without overd-drying. Helping with cleaning face skin and having a pleasant light smell. Salicylic acid helping to treat and prevent breakouts. Doesn’t irritate my gentle, sensitive skin. Oil free, residue-free, non-comedogenic. Suitable for daily use on acne prone skin. Plastic package with pump. A little goes a long way. Could recommend.

You can not use just one product and expect results. Truth is our skin need the scrub, the wash and the lotion. I use the scrub once every other day followed up with the lighter feeling acne stress lotion. Second wash in the early evening, not at night before bed, I use this wash followed up with the stress lotion. If your skin is breaking out or drying, you need to add that scrub and always follow up with the stress lotion or their rapid clear acne lotions that leave skin soft. Stay away from toners, period. These products are the best I'll found, you just need to figure out the right system for you in terms of how often to scrub and its not everyday. I can just use water and my face dries out, becomes sore and breaks out like there is no tomorrow until I scrub and don't try to scrub your face off.

I really like Nutagenas Oil Free Acne Face Wash it has a nice smell and it’s great at getting rid of dirt and oils. It can be a bit drying though so I recommend using a good moisturizer afterward, if you have active acne or are easily prone to breakouts I suggest using a non comedogenic moisturizer, basically one that won’t clog your pores and is easily absorbed.

I normally use the neutrogena transparent facial bar without any problems, however, I decided to try the liquid as it seemed more convenient, just squirt and wash. I used it for 2 days, by the 3rd day I noticed my face felt really dry, kinda like a light sandpaper, its rough feeling and kinda feels like sunburn, especially around my eyes, jawline and my neck! This is odd as I have oily skin normally. I try to moisturize after I shower and wash my face, but whatever I put on stings...I didn't know my face to be so sensitive. I have since stopped using it for the past 2 days with my face still having the rough feeling to it, but the sunburnt feeling is gone. I think I will stick with the facial bar.

I got this product thinking it would help my oily skin, and if did for the first few days, i only used it once a day to let my skin get used to it, and i woke up this morning with my skin actually being burned! this is the only thing i can tie it with, especially after reading other reviews online. no lotion is helping the pain. I'm really sad that ill have to throw away a nearly full bottle.

It over dried my face ALOT but that has to happen before it gets better. My dermatologist told me to buy it and he said it was gunna get worse before it gets better! Don't give up, my face still dries up but it's not as bad as when I barley started using this product. It has to dry up so the dead skin comes off, your skin will start peeling but that's okay!! Start using it once a day until you feel comfortable enough to use it twice a day like it's suppose to be.

I am almost 40 years old and I have been using this since i was in junior high. I kept using it because it kept my skin under control. I still use it because it keeps my skin looking younger. People think I am around 27. Thank you Neutrogena for helping me to feel confident with my skin and making it affordable to keep it younger looking and radiant.

I love this cleanser I have been using it for a few days now and I can already tell the difference the smell isn't too overwhelming and each time I use it I gets rid of the access oil on my skin which I only get on my nose and chin. I use this twice a day with an astringent and a oil free moisturizer that helps with acne.

What I've experienced with this is that, it doesn't do much with my skin. I put it on twice in the bath, come out with dry skin but thats about it. No pimples removed, and it seems to consistently not work for my pimples at all. I don't understand, Neutrogena is selling a product thats supposed to clear up my pimples but it seems to be doing less than nothing. After a while my pimples pop due to rubbing a towel against my face, or they get really big and don't go away until after weeks, supposedly how long it takes a normal pimple to go away. Thus i don't understand why you're selling us a product that basically does nothing except dry my skin.
