I personally have oily and dry skin, and I tend to be prone to break outs. I use this product at least once a day and it's been the only product to work so far. A lot of people complain that it dries out your skin but so does every other product I've ever used- it's really just a matter of how you wash your face. I just put some Aveeno lotion on after I wash my face and my skin is the best it's been since I started getting acne. I definitely recommend this product to everyone.

You can not use just one product and expect results. Truth is our skin need the scrub, the wash and the lotion. I use the scrub once every other day followed up with the lighter feeling acne stress lotion. Second wash in the early evening, not at night before bed, I use this wash followed up with the stress lotion. If your skin is breaking out or drying, you need to add that scrub and always follow up with the stress lotion or their rapid clear acne lotions that leave skin soft. Stay away from toners, period. These products are the best I'll found, you just need to figure out the right system for you in terms of how often to scrub and its not everyday. I can just use water and my face dries out, becomes sore and breaks out like there is no tomorrow until I scrub and don't try to scrub your face off.

I went out and bought this product after everyone had raved about it, saying it was the best one for pimples. I used it for 2 days and my skin became really dry and it stung when I put moisturiser on even. I am finding it very hard to get the moisture back into my skin again, and my skin feels really gross. I would not recommend this to anyone. I wouldn't put up with this facewash, even if it does clear up your skin. what you are left with is dry, scaly skin which burns eveytime you go to wash it and moisturise. I prefer Clean and Clear, it is much more gentle on the skin and does not dry it out.

Neutrogena oil-free acne wash with salicylic acid is my daily face wash for acne -prone skin I've been using this product in my AM/PM routine for years now it contains 2% salicylic acid as well as some plant ingredients. Making a very light foam with water helps clean my face by penertrating into my pores,eliminating oil and dirt and it unclog my pores without over drying my face. It has a very light smell not irritating my face or breaking me out worse. the face wash treats and prevents breakouts and its suitable for daily use on acne prone skin. It comes in a plastic bottle with pump I also learned a little goes a long way always remember you can always add but not take away.

I used to have bad red rash which was originally red and itchy when using this product because of its reaction to vitamin A. I repeat you should NOT use this wash together with vitamin A creams like retinol because this cleanser contains 2% salicylic acid. When I was off retinol and used this product solely in conjunction with benzoyl peroxide to control my acne, it worked so well to de-clog my pores and keep my face from breaking out! (I have extremely oily skin with bad history of cystic acne) really happy with this product but I recommend not to use it twice a day as it can be too harsh. On some days when my skin is dry, I use a gentle cleanser. On a side note, neutrogena could skip the fragrance, It doesn’t really do much for the skin :/

This is a classic cleanser. It's a great wash for acne or general exfoliation. I follow dermatologists on social media, and they recommend a salicylic acid soap to gently adjust PH levels to maximize vitamin C absorption, so I use this in the morning before serums.

I grew up using this! It's such a simple, basic face wash and that's what I love the most about it… simple and to the point. I used this in my teens when I was trying to find my skin type and managing teen acne. I always recommend this to younger females!

It didn't irritate my skin and made my face skin feel clean but after a month of using it I didn't see any changes in my skin.it might have just been it didn't work for my asking type or something else I was doing. I'm not saying don't use it but I would buy a smaller one bottle first
