I'm 17 & I have a lot to deal with already- school, boys, friends, etc.- the last thing I needed was acne! I recently started developing more and more acne and it really made me self conscious. I've tried other popular acne washes and they didn't work for me. Then, I saw all of the commercials for the best #1 dermatologist recommended acne wash and I decided to give it a try. So far,I love it. My acne disappeared on some parts of my face within days. My friends noticed a difference right away. I love the way the cleanser feels and I actually look forward to washing my face every morning now. I have gained so much confidence with my face looking like it did when I was younger!

This cleanser doesn't smell the greatest. It does take out oil. But to the extent that my face was almost peeling! Acne wise, im not that bad, just around feminine time do I actually break out. I am only 14, so that may be the culprit. I have absolutely no cystic acne. But what this product did is make more acne. Because it was forcing things out...But in the end it wasn't TERRIBLE. I guess it just depends on the person

I bought this 2 weeks ago and instead of helping improve my skin it made it worse by getting A LOT of tiny white on my jawline and neck. First time using Neutrogena and I wanted to love it so bad but it made my skin dry, itchy, and made me break out.

I bought this product literally 4 days ago and have used it 3 times. I started the night I got it, read the label and applied it to my face. The first night was amazing and it made my skin soft. I applied cream and went to sleep. The next morning I applied it again and I noticed my face was a bit red. I assumed I had rubbed too hard and so I tried again that night but applied a bit softer. The next morning was awful my face was itchy, red, numb and inflamed. It is still this way after discontinuing it and 2 days have gone by. So disappointed in neutrogena as it says it is good for all skin types and is gental.

I bought this cleanser about month and a half ago, I decided to give it a shot even though I read all the bad reviews. I have very tough, oily acne prone skin and yet I was shocked of how this dried out my skin, after the first washes I felt soo dry and itchy, I even peeled around my lips and nose. So I thought I would just reduce the amount of washes so my skin get use to it, i periodically increased the times I washed my face with it so it wouldn't felt so dry. I moisturized with the oil free moisturizer by Neutrogena too an added a few drops of rosehip oil for extra moisture. My skin doesn't dry as much, nor itches, I'm kind of seeing a little improvement though im not surprised. I think they're many other options out there to get clear skin without all the drying and stuff. I wouldn't recommend it, at least I have been trying it continually and have accomplished nothing.

Started to use this product noting that it had said all of these remarkable things on the back. Also noting that it is a "gentle" wash. At first my face was feeling tight and left a shiny texture on my skin. A week later my skin was inflammed felt like wind burn, looked red, had puffyness around my mouth, red bumps & small white heads everywhere I had applied the acne wash.

I love this face wash I use it twice a day. It definitely does the job. Gets rid of my small pimples and blackheads i always rinse it with cold water afterwards. I won't use another acne facewash again! I been suffering with acne for 14 years and this is the only face wash that's helped me thank u Neutrogena your amazing!

My skin was always bouncing between being too oily or too dry. I tried so many different face washes and moisturizers but my skin either remained the same or got worse. Eventually, someone told me about this oil-free wash. I tried it, and after only a few days, I saw a HUGE improvement. I would recommend this product to anyone who breaks out daily.

I have combination skin but more on the oily side. I have been battling with acne since I was 9 and I am currently 17. I've tried other products (proactive,clean and clear etc) but this face wash has worked the best. I use this every day along with the blackhead scrub. It gets my face clean and smooth. I haven't had a breakout in about 3 weeks now and I usually breakout every week.

I bought this About a week and a half ago and have been using as directed. The skin around my nose broke out in small red itchy bumps and my skin started peeling. The same thing is happening to my boyfriend but on his chin. I’ve stopped using and my skin is getting better
