I've been using this product for about a week, until I had to stop. My face is severely red, burning, extremely itchy, and broke out with small, white pimples everywhere, even all over my neck! It hurts so bad!! If you want to avoid an allergic reaction, and all of the symptoms above, then steer clear of this cleanser!

This is the most powerful acne wash EVER. This stuff will completely remove any oil from your skin and clear it out, but the problem is, it's just too strong for daily use. I actually use the regular Neutrogena facial bar on a daily basis. If my skin begins to feel oily, then I'll step up to the Neutrogena "Deep Clean Facial Cleanser" and if necessary I'll also use that with the "Clear Pore Oil-Eliminating Astringent". Normally, that's enough, but if, and only if, that isn't enough, I'll use the "Oil-Free Acne Wash". I can only use this product maybe once or twice a week, and that will do the job, in conjunction with the other products. I could never use it twice a day as directed, but that doesn't mean it isn't a good product. I read some of the other reviews and I sympathize with those that may have developed a rash from this product. The first time I used it, the same thing happened to me from following the directions, but I did figure out how to use it, and it does have a permanent place in my normal skin regimen now.

I really like Nutagenas Oil Free Acne Face Wash it has a nice smell and it’s great at getting rid of dirt and oils. It can be a bit drying though so I recommend using a good moisturizer afterward, if you have active acne or are easily prone to breakouts I suggest using a non comedogenic moisturizer, basically one that won’t clog your pores and is easily absorbed.

I used this face wash for years, and it always seemed to work for me. I would still have habitual breakouts, but that was more related to outside factors than the wash itself. I would buy this wash again if I was in a pinch, and needed something asap

I've been using this product for quite a week now and i feel that it dries out my skin so much that i have to use a moisturiser. My acne hasn't diminished at all the minute i use it and more pimples are coming out, i don't know what's wrong. Definitely not using this product anymore.

I’ve been using this product for years. My dermatologist recommended it for adult acne. It’s great for my skin type and my 15 & 18 year old daughters use it too. It doesn’t cause us any burning, itching, or peeling, just clear skin. I’ve read reviews that some people have had such issues with this type of Neutrogena Acne Face Wash. This product contains SalicylicAcid and it might not be the right product for sensitive skin, but my experience has been very positive for my combination skin type. I recommend it for acne prone skin, but remember to use moisturizer no matter which face wash you use.

I bought this wash two weeks ago and my cystic hormonal acne has improved a lot. I noticed changes since de second day of usage. I used to have one new pimple almost everyday before start using this wash, but now these breakouts are reduced to one or two smaller and non cystic pimples. I use the wash twice a day with the rapid clear 2in1 (just at nights). Of course this product has caused me a little dryness but that’s because of the salicylic acid, (and I rather that than my excessively oily face)... My skin is very sensitive but just with the gentle dryness as side effect I think it has worked well on my severe acne problem skin

it lately has been making my skin super i rested. it’s been burning and hurting and i have to sleep through it for it to stop. it makes my skin dry and tight so when i go to put moisturizer on it to make it ease, it just makes it worse. i do have sensitive skin, so it may be the issue, but i wouldn’t recommend.

I like how I have your skin very clean and feeling very vibrant and give it a nice glow I would recommend this product to anyone because I had a great outcome I have recommended it to family members and they also like this product I don't have any complaints about this product it is a good product for any types of skin clears up well

I bought this Wednesday afternoon I used it that night the next two days my neck started itching and the next day my face was sensitive when I removed my make up, I washed my face with it Saturday night and woke up Sunday morning with eyes swollen and face red, burning, and very sensitive to the touch!
