It makes my face dry and causes me to get dry skin around my lips and below my eyes, and on my chin. It burns my face and my face looks terrible. It hurts when i smile and gives me wrinkles under my eyes. I cant even move my face. It doesn't bother my mom's face but mine. THIS PRODUCT SUCKS.

Stop using all of those harsh cleansers and expensive face wash! This one will take your makeup off and has a great neutral scent that won't make you queasy. It has a RICH lather and always gets the bulk.of my makeup off with no extra scrubbing or tools.

Overall I like this face wash but if used everyday it dries my skin out. For reference I have combination skin with my T-zone being more oily. I still use this product and think it does a very good job at keeping acne at bay, I just have to use it infrequently.

I love this wash because it makes your face feel very clean and it cleared my acne up when my face would break out. I also used this wash to take off my makeup in the shower. It’s Best if you use it twice a day, once in the mornings and in the evenings.

I got this hoping it would clear up my awful acne, and it did... For like 2 days all was well... and then my parade of happiness was rained on. HARD. The skin under my chin started to hurt and become red and irritated. First it started on the left and spread completely to the right. My chin was really noticeably red. This happened on days 3 and 4 of using the cleanser. Also on day 4, my skin started flaking off and NO amount of makeup could cover it up. Not only had this product burned my skin!!! It also made me look absolutely AWFUL. The only reason i gave this thing two stars is because it made my skin look like a champion for 2 days.

I used to have bad red rash which was originally red and itchy when using this product because of its reaction to vitamin A. I repeat you should NOT use this wash together with vitamin A creams like retinol because this cleanser contains 2% salicylic acid. When I was off retinol and used this product solely in conjunction with benzoyl peroxide to control my acne, it worked so well to de-clog my pores and keep my face from breaking out! (I have extremely oily skin with bad history of cystic acne) really happy with this product but I recommend not to use it twice a day as it can be too harsh. On some days when my skin is dry, I use a gentle cleanser. On a side note, neutrogena could skip the fragrance, It doesn’t really do much for the skin :/

I have oily, acne-prone skin and one of the only things that has ever helped with chronic breakouts is this product. I have been using it for about 15-20 years. I use it twice daily as a face wash and follow it up with a witch hazel astringent wipe and benzoyl peroxide and my face remains reasonably acne-free. If I stop using this wash, it breaks out again. It's part of a my regimen to clear up my chronic adult acne.

First off I want to say I rarely have problems testing different products, I have combination skin and it's pretty tough. I purchased this product to try something different. I don't suffer from acne but I get the occasional spot on my face and I wanted to see if this was effective in clearing up those every now and then blemishes. The first time I used it, it was before bed, I wasn't able to sleep because my face was extremely itchy. My chin area, my cheeks. It was excruciatingly painful. I woke up in the morning with red dry skin. That was only after my first time using it. The second time it was 10x more unbearable. My whole forehead has broken out in tiny bumps (which was totally clear before me using it) and has increased the amount of blemishes on my face. I do not recommend this and am returning this product immediately. Do not waste your money and don't let the #1 Dermatologist Recommended on the bottle fool you.
