I have had the worst problems with acne and it wasn't until recently that I realized that I was over-cleansing as a result, which only made my acne even worse. So, I went and bought this as a milder replacement for my old cleanser, and the results have been fantastic! Just washing twice a day with this and supplementing with a non-pore clogging moisturizer has cleaned up my complexion almost 100% in two weeks!

I couldn't believe this product! I used it for just 3 days - once per day and by day #3 my skin was actually burned! Skin was flaking off as if I had a bad sunburn. It was especially bad around my mouth, but I had other patches that were noticeably impacted as well. Besides looking bad, my skin hurt! What a waste of money! Never again would I use this product and I definitely would not recommend it to anyone.

When I was a teenager and had horrible hormonal cystic acne this did nothing. Now that I'm in my thirties I have more sensitive skin and just occasional breakouts this is nice in the summer. Gentle and doesn't really smell like anything. Cleans well without stripping just don't get it near your eyes. If you have sensitive skin on the oiler side and occasional breakouts this is nice. If you really struggle with acne this might not be strong enough, though I have used it as a gentle acne cleanser when on harsher treatments like retinol. Dermatologists recommend it for those reasons, and my derm recommended it to me. It's a good price and while there are generics I feel they are watery and don't clean and foam as well as the original. I have taken a star off because CeraVe just released a new acne cleanser with the same amount of salicylic acid and it's bigger so a better price. It's too soon to know for sure but I might like it better, I'll update this review and review the CeraVe cleanser in a bit.

So summer just started and it's all about fun in the sun. But sometimes it gets hot and sticky in the summer, and my winter cleanser just wasn't up to par. So, i tried this neutrogena oil-free acne wash... and I LUVVVVV IT! on the first day i used at night and in the morning some of my pimples were already gone. The whole day i didn't need to rewash my face, there was no shine, and when i felt my face it was soft and clean. So far i haven't had any new breakouts and it feels and smells great!

Since I have oily skin, I’m always looking for products that leave my face feeling hydrated without the extra oils. This item is perfect! Bottle size is great can be kept in shower or on bathroom counter. Don’t need a lot for a wash so the bottle can last a while making the price you pay worth it.

It’s been a long time since I’ve used this and I no longer do. However, there was a time I used it often when I had bad acne. It was drying for my face but of course that is expected. If you need a simple face wash on a budget for acne this could be okay .

I have tried a lot of cleansers and cremes from high-end and drugstore but since i found this one it has helped me a lot with my acne but the only problem i have with it, is that it dries my skin really bad. Sometimes i can see my t zone peeling and flaky, it helps me with the acne but at the same times it dries my skin. Not sure if buying it again.

This was my skincare preference when I was a teen. I used this wash twice a day and it kept my skin clear. If I stopped using it I always noticed my face would start to breakout again. I could only use the Neutrogena products with salicylic acid to wash my face and count on it to clear it up completely. I buy this product for my two teenage daughters and it works great on their skin like it did mine. You can definitely count on Neutrogena to do what it says it will and not over dry your skin

I started using this product every morning in the shower and it really really helps. It hurts when I get it into my eye, lol, but it works! I use a moisturizer after each wash because it makes your skin dry but it's SUPPOSED to people! That's what a acne cleanser IS. I LOVE THIS PRODUCT!

Ended up buying this bc I've used the brand before and it did well for my skin type. It's also got salicylic acid which is great for oily skin or breakout prone skin types. It's also affordable which is a must if you like to duel wash (bc products go fast). I've definitely noticed clearer skin vs other products I've used in the past. It's also widely available in most retail stores so finding it is pretty simple. So 5/5 for this product FS!
