I have extreme sensitive skin, it has more of an oily base than a dry base. This made my face a decent amount less oily than usual. I do recommend this for those who struggle with oily skin. Not a game changer, but it’s hard to find skin care that’s actually effective.

I have oily skin and I bought it figuring it would clear it up and get rid of my acne. Well It got rid of the acne but dried my skin up. I have been itching my face all day and now it is to the point where it doesn't feel like skin anymore. I have not used it for very long because it did this.

My husband and I have been using this product for years and we love it so much. It works well on our combination skin. It keeps breakouts away. The scent is not strong, its perfect to use it everyday. The price is affordable and it works better than expensive stuff that we used before. Highly recommended!

I always used this as a teenager that was involved in multiple contact sports and as everyone knows, puberty can hit hard with the unsightly pimples you develop through all the grease and grime of sports. Getting older I invested in the more expensive skin care products, but now in my late 30’s I still find myself going back to the tried and true brands that have always worked for me.

Ended up buying this bc I've used the brand before and it did well for my skin type. It's also got salicylic acid which is great for oily skin or breakout prone skin types. It's also affordable which is a must if you like to duel wash (bc products go fast). I've definitely noticed clearer skin vs other products I've used in the past. It's also widely available in most retail stores so finding it is pretty simple. So 5/5 for this product FS!

I (thankfully) haven't had to use  Neutrogena Oil Free Acne Wash in quite a few years. But when I had the need, this was my go-to acne wash. It gently cleanses without leaving a filmy residue and did not dry out my face. Neutrogena oil free acne wash is mid-priced but, in my opinion, worth it. 

I bought this Wednesday afternoon I used it that night the next two days my neck started itching and the next day my face was sensitive when I removed my make up, I washed my face with it Saturday night and woke up Sunday morning with eyes swollen and face red, burning, and very sensitive to the touch!

I used this product twice, and it dried out my face soooo badly that I couldn't even move my mouth!! My face turned red and flaky, and it looked like I was growing scales. At first, I thought this reaction was from my acne cream, but after reading these reviews, I realized it must've been this wash's fault. I doubt I'll ever use this junk again. PLEASE ,please, Neutrogena, make a gentler, more effective wash, so others don't have to experience the horrible side effects.

I used this product for two days as directed. I woke up on day three with a rash from my forehead down to it neck; it’s itchy, tight and painful. my eyes are swollen and I’ve taken four Benadryl since yesterday. The first day my eyelids were slightly swollen, puffy underneath and my whole face was red like severe sunburn. The next day I woke up, itchy with chafed skin, and now my eyelids are swollen. Please be so very careful when trying Neutrogena products. I’m headed back to the doctor today.

I used it for the first time just under a week ago, and the skin on my face hasn't been the same since. I have other neutrogena products that I've used for months and I've never reacted to any of them before. It has gone down a lot in the last couple days, but when I used it my face dried out far too much and nothing I tried would fix it. My face also became red, extremely itchy, tight, and I actually have more acne than I did before. I don't know if this is a common thing that happens when you first use it or not, but this is what happened to me.The price was great and I'm sure it works for many other people! See if it works for you, I'm not going to tell you not to use it because it didn't work for me.
