This is the OG cleanser for anyone who suffers from acne prone skin. Was originally recommended to me by my dermatologist and I have been using it ever since because it is such a reliable product. The product does its job without causing any damage to my skin.

I’ve been using this face wash for almost a full year now. It was recommended to me by my dermatologist because I have very sensative skin. I really like it and it really does help with my acne, but it is a little drying. Not something that a good moisturizer can’t help but I’m hoping that they come up with a version of this with some added moisture!!

I almost never leave reviews, but please don’t buy this!!! I have acne and have used many acne products without a reaction like this. After two uses, my face is swollen, peeling, and burning! And it seems to just be getting worse. I actually took the day off work because my skin hurts and looks so bad! This is ridiculous.

So before I used this product I had the grapefruit foaming cleanser. I absolutely loved it!! It made my skin really soft and clean, but also smelt amazing and pretty much cleared up my acne. So when I ran out and went to the store to get more it was gone. So I decided to buy this product because it was a good price and I saw a commercial about it. So in the the first couple of days using it, my skin felt fine. Clean and fresh. But after one week everything started going down hill!! My skin is getting so dry that its cracking and peeling and the sides of my nose, mouth, and chin. When I touch my face I can feel flakes!!!!

this type of face Wash has always done good for my skin type because I have really oily skin which causes a lot of small white bumps. and actually salicylic acid fights in particular these white acne bumps so it really helps my skin become more vibrant while I used this particular brand of face wash.

I first began using this product in high school. Since then, I've switched around a lot and in the process tried dozens of drug and department store acne washes/cleansers/creams. I always came back to the Oil-Free Acne Wash, and now I will NEVER trust my face with anything else. The effectiveness of acne medications and washes do vary a lot from person to person, so there's no guarantee that this product will work for you. I've tried products that people have raved about or called miraculous, but I've usually achieved little success. This wash cleared up my daily breakouts when nothing else could, and the price is so reasonable that it's really worth a shot. It's gentle and completely trustworthy for me.

I bought this about a week ago and it helped with my breakouts some. I noticed I didn’t get as many whiteheads as I usually do. BUT, after about 3 days I noticed my face was extremely dry especially around my eyes and mouth area. The skin around my mouth has been flaking. I’ve been moisturizing my entire face but every lotion I have tried so far makes it burn and has been painful.

My dermatologist recommended this face wash after I stopped Accutane, and so far I've had good results with maintaining a clear complexion. It does dry your skin out and make it flaky, but this has gotten better after I started using a silicone face brush; since I've started doing this, the burning I experience after washing and moisturizing is less intense every day. (I use Cerave moisturiser after washing in the morning and at night.) Because of the salicylic acid, which is really good for clearing acne, your skin will get dry. However, overall I think this is a good face wash and the results, I believe, are more satisfying when using a soft exfoliator brush and moisturiser.

Yes i agree that it works but, When you apply it, it burns, then after washed it is Alright.. but after a while you might feel ur skin itchy (my did not)... Also u will find it flaky & dry but i feel that it's Okay... Because after some time it turns to normal skin type ... M just a little confused with this product because it MAY damage my skin later on.

I’m someone who suffers with acne/ combination skin and unfortunately this product did not leave me impressed. ✅Pros - affordable - available anywhere - does give a deep clean ❌Cons - strips away your skins barrier - promotes oiliness - too harsh to be part of a daily routine - didn’t pair well with other skincare products (even the gentle ones)
