I was using a prescription acne medication when I decided it was time to give salycilic acid another go, which is why I tried this acne wash out. While it keeps all of my breakouts away, I’m not sure if it is doing much for my current acne. I am seeing an increase in blackheads, and the acne I had prior to using this three weeks ago, just won’t budge. I also noticed some drying around my mouth, so I switch on and off with a gentle cleanser. My biggest concern however is that this is causing over-exfoliation. My forehead and nose are extremely shiny and they aren’t greasy. The skin looks like it’s pulled tight and just has a different texture. Because the skin is trying to repair itself, I am noticing an increase in oil production. I love Neutrogena products though, so I think I’m going to try the Grapefruit Cleanser.

I enjoyed the clean fresh almost nonexistent for a grants it didn’t dry my skin out my skin felt fresh and clean and it did a wonderful job on my acne I used it for many years I would absolutely suggest this to anybody who wants just a clean fresh acne wash in it without all the extra fragrance and extra hoopla

I have extremely oily skin and bad acne when I was a teen and still have it even as a adult. Its,been a while since I used it. Actually years, but it work great leaving your skin feeling smooth,clean and oil free for a while. My acne started to clear up.

I use several different Neutrogena products. This face wash does wonders for hormonal Acne and minor breakouts. It's great quality, affordable and long lasting. A little bit goes a long way. It's strong enough to alleviate your Acne but still pretty gentle.

I barely got acne my whole life. I switched medication and i started getting bad acne so i asked a pharmasict which would be best. He recommended this product. I have been using this face wash for over a week and about two days ago i noticed a rash around my mouth and lots of red dots in clusters arounf my mouth. My boyfriend also had the same issue but around his eyes and forehead. I have been moisturizing my face like crazy and it still hurts. I would have been better off if i never touched this product!! I DO NOT RECCOMMEND THIS PRODUCT!!!! Buyers beware.

This is one of the strongest oil free salicylic acid facial washes that I have ever used. If your facial skin is prone to dryness definitely you would need to use this less times during the week and also a few minutes after using it you would need to add moisturizer because it is very strong. One time I used this days and days after one another and my skin got so dry it actually started peeling for a week or so and it was so embarrassing. I didn't realize this product had dried my face out so much since I was using it so frequently. However this facial wash definitely makes it hard to get breakouts.

I suffer with acne as a teenager and as a child coming up but since I've been applying my own makeup foundation Etc and been using the acne product I have seen a difference I have seen a chain and I would recommend if you have acne this will be the number one product

I rarely ever leave reviews but this product is horrible! I decided to switch face washes to try and help with oil and acne and this is the WORST face wash I have ever used! My skin is so dry and my face is literally burning! This is only my second time trying it! I wouldn't recommend this for my worst energy!

It is super effective yet gentle to get your face clean. I use it on an everyday basis as part of my skin care routine. The price is perfect for its effectiveness. It leaves the skin feeling absolutely soft and doesn’t dry it at all. Smells really good. Helps keep acne away.

I've tried numerous cleansers for my acne for years & this one I have been in love with & won't use anything different, besides exfoliating products. I just love how it makes my face feel squeaky clean & I put on a moisturizer right after. I recommend this product & it is inexpensive.
