I am loving the New Formula of Neutrogena Oil-Free Acne Wash! It’s mild, gentle on skin. It’sFragrance Free. The signature bottle pump packaging has generous amount of cleanser. This cleanser is my all time favourite especially during summer sweaty days- it refresh and cleanse instantly!

I bought this 2 weeks ago and instead of helping improve my skin it made it worse by getting A LOT of tiny white on my jawline and neck. First time using Neutrogena and I wanted to love it so bad but it made my skin dry, itchy, and made me break out.

The face wash is okay for the price, howether is doesn’t foam much leaving a feeling that it doesn’t clean enough. The scent is so gentle you can barely smell it. After reading many good reviews i decided to give it a go, and yes i would buy it again for the price when on a budget, but i would choose a different product when i’m not.

I loved the smell and the way the product made my skin feel at first; however, I had not used this product long when I noticed my skin was burning. While working out Wednesday evening, I noticed that my face was burning. I thought it was just because I was hot and sweaty. No, I finally look a look at my skin & noticed that dry patches around my nose. I would not recommend this product. It did not agree with my skin.

I bought this product 4 days ago and I used it one time. Seeing that it is #1 recommended I decided to try it to clear my face up. WORST MISTAKE EVER. The next day I noticed that my face was getting really dry and itchy. I had the worst reaction to this product and it make my face super red, dry, and flakey. I stopped using it right away and four days later my face is still super red and dry. The feeling is like having a face mask on that has hardened, but you can’t take it off. I wish I read the reviews before buying this product because I would have for sure not bought this face wash. If you are really considering it talk to a dermatologist first because this should be the last product recommended to use.

I would not recommend this product to anyone. I changed out my face wash for this one and after a couple of days using this I've experienced overly dry skin around my face and neck as well as itching, and a terrible rash! Definitely steer clear of this product.

My husband and I have both used this product for years. Neither of us have a problem with acne on our faces as long as we remember to wash them with. I have never had a big problem with acne so I don't use this often, but I always notice a big difference when I use this. I avoid oil based products on my face since they typically clog my pores and make me break out;; happy to use this oil-free version! Picture taken right after washing my face with this product.

Started to use this product noting that it had said all of these remarkable things on the back. Also noting that it is a "gentle" wash. At first my face was feeling tight and left a shiny texture on my skin. A week later my skin was inflammed felt like wind burn, looked red, had puffyness around my mouth, red bumps & small white heads everywhere I had applied the acne wash.

It wasn’t until I was an adult that I experienced acne. After trying several facial cleansers, serums, moisturizers and treatments, the answer to my problem was simple. Neutrogena’s oil free acne wash was perfect for me. Having sensitive skin and acne as an adult was embarrassing! Neutrogena’s oil free face cleanser is gentle but effective. I highly recommend this product.

I am a novice to the skincare world, but I became interested in having an actual skincare routine about 6 months ago. The reason that this product is a 2 is that it doesn't do what is advertised, which was help with acne. If it was just supposed to be a cleanser to get rid of sunscreen, minimal makeup, or wash a face in general, I would use it in a double-cleansing routine. In this case, it would be a 4 for me but, that is not the case. To start out, I was looking at inexpensive products because duh. I am a college student and was trying to save some money while still trying to keep my skin clear. On the aspect of cost, this product is it. I have been using this product for about six months now and I can safely say it does a good job at cleaning the skin and making it feel fresh after a good wash. I do remember when initially using it, my skin was dry after washing. This was easily fixed with a good moisturizer. (I was using the Cetaphil face moisturizer) This dryness goes away if you are consistent but it does have 2% salicylic acid so I would say some initial dryness is normal. I am currently finishing my bottle and will not purchase again because I am looking for something to actually clear up my acne or prevent it. I recently began to get minimal acne around my jawline closer to the chin and although I don't think it was this product (probably just hormones/stress) I know this product is not working for my skin because it stays the same. I would say that if you have very very minimal acne, as the occasional pimple or two, that this product is great for you but if it is higher up on the scale of acne it probably won't clear up the skin. If you still feel compelled to try it because you are also trying out the product, I would say go for it because the price is great. Again, it is a good face wash in general but not for what it advertises. Additional info: - The pump of the bottle is great and although it is not a foaming face wash, it does feel nice of the skin (needs water to feel smooth) - The size of the bottle is also good for the price - This product has a more natural smell but after washing and rinsing, it goes away. I don't think it smells bad but if you don't like the more natural smelling product and prefer fragranced cleansers, then maybe this product is not ideal. (I think the smell is fine and minimal but maybe people who are extremely sensitive to any smells and also prefer absolutely no smell won't like this product)
