I broke out 18 months ago, and have been fighting acne ever since. I have tried everything, washes, masks, scrubs, nothing worked. I started using this and it instantly dried out my acne. I have gone through two bottles of this, and while my acne is not completely clear, it is so much better and now easily covered with makeup.

I tried Neutrogena's Oil-Free Acne Wash, and it's okay. It does a decent job of cleansing my skin and keeping breakouts at bay. The formula feels refreshing, and it doesn't leave my skin feeling too dry or tight. However, I didn't notice a significant improvement in my acne after using it for a while. It's not a miracle product, but it's a solid option if you're looking for a basic acne cleanser.

Oh my! So like I've been using a pretty high end product to clear my skin. However it's not working to clear my skin. So I went back down to use this product and it worked out great! My skin stopped breaking out! It stops breakouts pretty slow, but it works. My skin doesn't break out anymore! YAY!

I bought this as a cheaper alternative to other products I use as it had the same active ingredients. I used this product for less than a week and it destroyed my skin. I woke up to redness that refused to go away (looked like I stayed out too long in the sun), whiteheads EVERYWHERE (never struggled with this before), and itching/burning constantly. The dryness that followed was unreal (and I have horribly oily skin normally). I have never dealt with such bad skin texture and acne as I did when I started this product. I threw the full bottle away and will never purchase again. I've used Neutrogena many times in the past and never had issues like this so I'm not sure what happened.

This Neutrogena Oil Free Acne Wash with Salicylic Acid is a great over the counter purchase. It is strong enough to wash off the dirtiest faces but also gentle enough to be used by sensitive skin. Great way to clean your face without spending too much.

it lately has been making my skin super i rested. it’s been burning and hurting and i have to sleep through it for it to stop. it makes my skin dry and tight so when i go to put moisturizer on it to make it ease, it just makes it worse. i do have sensitive skin, so it may be the issue, but i wouldn’t recommend.

I just got it about 2 weeks ago and at first I liked it because it makes my skin feel smooth but now its sooooo itchy and cracked the skin around my nose and mouth and it is peeling so bad. I don’t even know how to fix it its soooo itchy and stings because of the peeling

I bought this 3 days ago, used it twice & i got really dry patches on my cheeks that burned & started to swell under my eyes. It looks like i was in a fist fight. I dont know if this is an allergic reaction & i know its not the products fault if it is, but this product did not work for me at all. Still trying to figure out how to fix the swelling & burning. Besides that, it is a very light & fresh wash which i like.

I used this when I first started taking my skin care seriously and for traveling. It's really good for oily skin. Which is why I recommend taking it for traveling, even if you don't have oily skin most people do on vacation. Think about this for traveling, it also have the twist closed pump lid.

This product is intended for use on OILY faces. I considered my face to be OILY so I therefore purchased this product. After about 3 days of use it began to burn my skin. Dark spots began to appear on the side of my nose. I guess my face was not OILY enough so my skin was therefore irritated. But overall the few amount of pimples that I had decreased in size after the 3 days of use. So I guess it therefore serves its purpose, just make sure this is for your type of skin. This product also smells very much like soap. Not the best smelling product out there.
