I bought this just a few days ago in hopes that it will be a great addition to my skin care routine to help ease my acne, but this has caused my skin to look worse than it has been looking ever since I started to really clean my skin. My skin has been looking better than ever UNTIL I started to use this product. I have a rash and possible chemical burns considering how PAINFUL my face feels. I am so scared that it will get worse. I urge Neutrogena to look into all of these reviews saying we got burns and think about fixing or simply removing this product from shelves. I am so angry that my face hurts THIS bad from a product and I wish I could get my money back.

I got this product hoping that it would help my oily skin, although it did, it made my face completely DRY! So dry I had to get a moisturizer cream after I use it and it still wouldn't be “not dry”. It's okay for some, but for me, I won't be purchasing this product again.

I tried using this product for several months. And I just didn't love it. ALthough it did make my face feel clean, it also dried it out a little. I already have naturally dry skin. So this just made it worse. But I think it could work really well for somebody else.

The pros about this product are that it's fairly cheap, doesn't have a smell, and its gentle on the skin. The cons, for me personally, are that I used over half the bottle and didn't see much change. I would recommend adding it as one step to a more thorough skin care routine.

I was super excited to use this product as a friend of mine, with clear skin, uses this on daily. I used this at day and night time as part of my skin care routine, and the first 2 days seemed fine. I have NEVER had very much acne, just a few real small pimples here and there when I forgot to take off my makeup. Because of this, I was extremely alarmed when I had HORRIBLE, huge pimples on my cheeks and forehead show up on the third day. These pimples are so large and irritated it seriously looks like I have an acne problem. I used the face wash once more to see if it would help, but it only made it way worse. It's been 2 days since I've stoppes using the product, and the pimples are still red and irritated. Will NEVER buy this product again, as this acne wash only ended up giving me acne...

I haven't used this in years because I have a routine that works for me and now I only get a few pimples right before my period, at most. This did nothing for me when I used it. However, it didn't make anything worse which can't be said for all skin care products, which is why I gave it two stars instead of one.

This is one of favorite face wash. I have used this since I was teenager and had developed lot of cystic acne. It was also recommended from dermatology. It help dry my oily skin and remove all the impurities and reduce inflammation. I like using it more in summer as I feel it make my skin more dry.

Used this product once and I woke up with my face covered in hives. I skipped class today because my face looks so terrible. It's dry, tight, and flaking. All I wanted was a product that would clear up my acne and acne scars because I didn't want to be self conscious anymore when walking around without makeup on. Instead, i got this mess. Everyone's staring at me like I'm a diseased person. This sucks so much. I had such high hopes.

Growing up as a teenager with bad acne, the Neutrogena Oil-Free Acne Wash became a life saver. It has been apart of my regular daily routine and has helped so much to clear up my skin from all kinds of blemishes and pimples. It always leaves my skin and face feeling so refreshed and clean as well, and even helped reduce the amount of oil produced from my pores. I highly would recommend this product to anyone who is struggling with acne and is trying to find a simple easy solution.

I ran out of my Cetaphil cleanser. I bought some of this because a friend of mine in college swore by it. I rarely have pimples. I have some blackheads and whiteheads though. The first few days were OK. I have sensitive skin and I now have itchy red dry patches all over my face. It feels like sandpaper. My skin was not like this before. I have put tons of expensive creams on my face and nothing is helping.
