It's a good product it just the results take time the sent is fine it works good just takes time my skin feels a little dry after using the wash but I have very dry skin anyway it takes a lot of different products to use for my skin type over all Im fine with it I will use it again it's a little pricey but I will buy it again

I bought this about 3 weeks ago started using it as directed it made my face feel tight, went to bed work up not long after with my face red and burning almost like it was wind chapped, I used it the second day thinking it's just a new face wash my skin isn't use to it yet. I was wrong. It made my acne was, white heads all over my chin and forehead, red. I have stopped using it and my face is still broke out within 5 days after.

Ever since I was a little girl the first brand face cleanser I started using was Neutrogena. When I was in middle and high school, I used to get lot of acne, so this brand really helped me out with that. I have been using it ever since . Neutrogena is one of the best and reliable skin care brands!

I bought this product 4 days ago. I used it in the morning and it felt fine. Then I used it that night. My face tingled a bit but calmed down after I moisturized it. The next day I woke up and my whole face was tight, red, and flaky. The skin around my nose burned and my eyelids were dry. I stopped using it right away and 2 days later, it's still very red, burns constantly and I had a new crop of breakouts right around my mouth (which I never get). It's a horrible feeling!!

Oily skin just makes it more prone for acne. That's why I chose this oil-free Acne wash. Neutrogena is not a high-end product, but you can buy it at your local drugstore at a reasonable price. The one thing I enjoy about Neutrogena oil-free acne wash is the fresh, smooth feeling that's left on my skin. The scent is very mild and not overpowering. With this face Wash from Neutrogena. I see that a little goes a long way. Therefore, the product will last about a month if using daily.

I'm an 45 yo Afro-Am woman with oily/acne prone skin and I must say this wash is the BEST at treating my acne. Since I started using it my skin is smooth, clear and with CONSISTENT use (sometimes I get lazy) acne free. I've tried VERY expensive products recommended by dermatologist and estheticians, but NONE have worked better than this one. The 2% SA ingredient does the trick but CAN OVER DRY if you're not careful so it's VERY important to use this product with a lubricant (coca butter/vaseline). The first couple of times I used it, I used it twice a day WITHOUT lubricants so my eyes dried out, my lips were stripped and the tip of nose was flaky and peeling, so I pulled back to once a day and started using lubricants. I'm so glad I didn't give up on this product because the results were so worth it. To prevent drying/peeling of the delicate areas (Eyes, tips of Nose, Mouth) I follow these steps: 1) Apply a SMALL amount of lubricant (I prefer cocoa butter) to eyes, nose and mouth with a cotton ball or Q-tip 2) Apply N's Oil-Free face wash (usually on my cheeks, chin and forehead - where I breakout most). I usually leave the wash on my face for a few seconds. 3) Remove with warm water repeating this step several times. 4) I wash again with a mild soap or gentle face wash to remove product and coca butter residue and then pat dry. I follow-up with an Oil-Free Toner and my face is left feeling clean, fresh, smooth and and acne-free. I use this product ONCE a day (2x per day if I've skipped a day or two and feel like I'm going to have a major breakout). My daughter uses the same product in a cream version (she has dry skin) and it works better for her so be open to trying different versions until you find the perfect mix for you. Hope this helps!

I moved to a hot and humid part of the world and began suffering from random breakouts along my chinline. I tried a few expensive products from department stores but didn't get any results. Last resort... Picked up neutrogena acne wash at the supermarket and its worked wonders for me. Skin cleared up after 5 days. Haven't had another build up of spots for over 2 weeks. Some very small pimples still dotted about but it's a major improvement and it isn't sore. Just remember to moisturise after you use it.

I bought this for my son to use; he found it effective, and his acne has improved. He doesn't like the smell, but that's not a big deal. Also, the price seems high, but it's worth it, if you break it down over the time it's used, it's not that much since you only need to use a pea-sized amount each time. Oil-free, non-comedogenic, residue-free formula rinses clean to unclog pores and treat acne. Definitely, this is the most effective thing my son will never stop using.

This product should be discontinued. After one gentle wash my skin feels tight as if I am recovering from a burn/scar. The skin is bumpy and scaly to touch and my eye/lip areas are swollen. The bottle doesn't even say that this is a strong wash which it definitely should. Will not by any Neutrogena products after this. Also there is a lot of similar reviews about this issue which Neutrogena should care more about.

I have you been using this formula for years. These are just like you buy in the store excepted a better price. I’m not sure how this product works for moisturizing but I do have sensitive skin and it works fine on my skin. Makes it clean with no leftover residue
