I used this product years ago (probably about 5) and it worked so well on my skin, so this time around I figured I'd get the same result, right? WRONG. After 1 USE, my skin is dry, flaking, red, bumpy, itchy, and just plain gross. No amount of moisturizer will fix it, and my makeup won't cover it (I'm a makeup artist, so I have some pretty high end full coverage makeup, and even that won't do it). I gave in and went to see a doctor on the second day because my skin HURT SO BADLY, and I had to be prescribed medication to restore my skin back to how it was before.

This was the first Neutrogena product I’ve used, not thinking twice about it cause I thought it was such a good brand. However after using it once it broke me out bad. Got small little irritated bumps and dried my skin out completely. And don’t forget to mention, ITCHY. Will never use again. If you use, read ingredients and watch customer reviews on YouTube. I had to go to doctor for this so use with caution..

I liked the Neutrogena Oil-free Acne Wash, it made my face feel clean afterwards, but it didn't seem to be any different than most of the other projects I have used in the past. I am a woman over 50, so I need a product that cleans and makes the pores smaller, without drying.

I so badly wanted to like this product because I have seen that it works well for other people. However, when I went to use it seem like it cause me to break out more and I don’t consider myself to have sensitive skin so I’m not sure what was the reason why

I bought this for my daughter. She used it three times and her face and eyes swelled up red and burnt. Doctor said it’s a chemical burn. Prescribed steroids and Vaseline. Very frightening experience. This is not fit for purpose and must be removed from sake immediately. There are thousands of complaints all over the worked about these Neutrogena salicylic acid products. Highly dangerous. You will end up in the emergency doctors. It’s unethical that it’s on the market .

This cleared my face reasonably well. I haven't had any extra problems with dryness compared to other face washes. I use it almost everyday in the week. If you're someone who gets break outs when they try something new I'd suggest doing a spot test first, like you should with every new skincare product.

You can not use just one product and expect results. Truth is our skin need the scrub, the wash and the lotion. I use the scrub once every other day followed up with the lighter feeling acne stress lotion. Second wash in the early evening, not at night before bed, I use this wash followed up with the stress lotion. If your skin is breaking out or drying, you need to add that scrub and always follow up with the stress lotion or their rapid clear acne lotions that leave skin soft. Stay away from toners, period. These products are the best I'll found, you just need to figure out the right system for you in terms of how often to scrub and its not everyday. I can just use water and my face dries out, becomes sore and breaks out like there is no tomorrow until I scrub and don't try to scrub your face off.

I like to use it every morning and at night when I want to clean my face. It doesn’t really feel like it does a deep cleanser but it’s supposed to be a gentle cleanser so it’s OK. It’s not too expensive. I would recommend it. Although it has a slightly weird smell to it, but nothing disgusting. 

My skin is oily and ultra sensitive.. whenever i use any facewash for my oily skin i got acne and pimples.. But this facewash works like a miracle for me.. It not only suited my oily and sensitive skin but also this facewash helped to decrease size of the pores on my face..
