I'm 17 & I have a lot to deal with already- school, boys, friends, etc.- the last thing I needed was acne! I recently started developing more and more acne and it really made me self conscious. I bought this product because it was recommended by my dermatologist. I like it because it does help my oily acne prone skin. The issues i have is it dries your skin out leaving u with rashes and blisters. I did recommend it to my husband just to get is take on it and complains about the same thing.. The product is good but it needs a lil more moisturizer in the wash to calm the harshness...

I absolutely love this face wash! It has 2% salicylic acid which is great for acne. It’s very affordable and has done wonders for my acne. My face feels so clean and smooth after using it. I’ve definitely noticed such an improvement since using this wash!

I have never written a review before. I am 35 and hair oily/sensitive skin. I purchased this to try as a basic bha cleanser. I washed my face with it ONE time and woke up the next morning with red swollen face, burns, and tiny little blisters all over my chin and around my mouth. My skin was so good before, and I am so sad that I tried this and caused so much damage. It ruined my skin! I highly doubt I’ll ever use a Neutrogena product again, if they can cause this much damage I don’t trust their products anymore.

I'm very surprised to see all the negative reviews here. I am a 54 yr old grandmother to a 14 yr old granddaughter. I have been using this for years on my combination skin. I only have an occasion pimple but I use it because I love the way it makes my skin feel and look! I get compliments on my skin all the time. I introduced this wash to my grandaughter when she was 12 and she loved it too and continues to use it at 14. It keeps her face clear and she tells all her friends about it. We buy up ak few bottles at a time because we are always afraid you will stop making it. It has to be a great product if we can't live without it even with the age gap! Well done Neutrogena!

I used oil-free acne only once a few days ago and I can't believe my face is so burning, redness swollen, itchy and painful. After 4 days my face remains the same and my T-zone seems absorbed, it is as if my skin has shrunk. It’s so sad for me. Really I need help with this because I don’t know what to do!!!

I bought this yesterday to help with the dressed Mask-ne (I wear a mask all day at work and started to get the odd pimple in the chin area). I used it once last night and noticed after about an hour that my skin around my nose and mouth/chin was physically sore to the touch and bright red. I woke up this morning with what seems like Hundreds of tiny pimples and my skin is itchy and raw! I wish I never tried this and stuck with the odd breakout from the mask.

My daughter uses this face wash and loves it. She says her face never feels tight or dry but she can see the difference in her hormonal breakouts when she runs out and has to switch temporarily to a different cleanser. Highly recommend if you have a teenager or if you have hormonal breakouts!

I just got it about 2 weeks ago and at first I liked it because it makes my skin feel smooth but now its sooooo itchy and cracked the skin around my nose and mouth and it is peeling so bad. I don’t even know how to fix it its soooo itchy and stings because of the peeling
