Used product for 2 weeks consistently but failed to see consistent results. Face was left feeling clean after each use - in the morning and at night before moisturizer - and I noticed reduced acne after a couple days of use, but was disappointed to experience a breakout after just two weeks. Had to stop using the product.

I have very minor acne and it can't even cure that! It may say it's #1 dermatologist recommended and all, but I disagree. It dries out my skin when I put it on not AS oily parts of my face. And when I put it on my forehead, it caused more oiliness. On the back, it also says, "effective yet gentle," but I don't think it's hence the fact it made my skin dry. I suggest you don't waste your money on this project.

I really wanted to like the Neutrogena Oil-Free Acne Wash with Salicylic Acid, but it just didn't work well for my skin. While it does contain 2% salicylic acid to target acne, the formula ended up being way too harsh. Instead of clearing my breakouts gently, it stripped my skin and left it feeling dry, tight, and almost “fried out.”After a few days of use, my face looked more irritated than before, and I noticed extra redness and flakiness. It might work for people with very oily skin, but for me it was far too strong to use daily.The only positives are that it's affordable and easy to find, but the results didn't match the claims. If your skin is on the sensitive side, I'd recommend skipping this one and going for something more gentle, like CeraVe.

Was looking for something for my maturing oily skin. This face is very gentle and seems to help keep my face from being too oily, while not drying it out. I like the smell, it's very light. My only complaint is it doesn't lather up very much. Will be buying again.

I am really loving this wash. I do not have to use a makeup removing cloth before using this. It does a really good job of cleaning out your pores. Just one swipe of a toner/micellar water after this and I am good to put on my moisturizer/serums etc. I also noticed that my skintone is looking a lot more even since I started using this. Brown/red spots are fading away.

You are most likely to have peeling with acne medication BUT I used this products for a month AND THE PEELING NEVER STOPPED. When a product dries your skin out your body produces more oil thus more pimples. Do you know how embarrassing that is? To have peeling skin AND pimples? Shame on this product and anyone that promotes it without better knowledge.

Before I started using this product I had pimples and textured skin. At first I didn’t know if it was going to work, but I believe that you should never knock something until you try it. So I began including it into my daily skincare routine and after a month or so, I was so happy to say that the textured skin on my cheeks was gone! Not only did I enjoy the results but I also enjoyed the after feeling. This product left my skin feeling super refreshed, clean and healthy. Great product at a great price!

I have been using this brand for years, super effective cleanser. The scent is pretty average but you don't want anything strong on your face. The texture is nice and smooth and the price is super affordable. Packaging has always been the same, nozzle hasn't changed. Why adjust a good thing?

Growing up as a teenager with bad acne, the Neutrogena Oil-Free Acne Wash became a life saver. It has been apart of my regular daily routine and has helped so much to clear up my skin from all kinds of blemishes and pimples. It always leaves my skin and face feeling so refreshed and clean as well, and even helped reduce the amount of oil produced from my pores. I highly would recommend this product to anyone who is struggling with acne and is trying to find a simple easy solution.

I have always have been acne pro. When I was in high school I finally convinced my parents that i needed to go to a professional to fix my problem. When I went to the dermatologist he of course gave me some prescription products to start out but I only used it every other day and it was just a serum. The face wash that he told me to use was the acne wash by neutrogena. The whole office has us using it and my skin has never been better! I have reduced oil I don't break out unless it's that time of the month. Anyways buy it you will love it. If you use it right. Remember to be consistent and don't go I'm going to use it one day and forget about it. For this product to work use it everyday:).
