This face wash is basically my skin's superhero 🦸‍♀️✨ The salicylic acid goes straight to work on my breakouts without making my face feel stripped or squeaky-dry. It lathers up nicely, feels refreshing, and actually keeps those surprise pimples in check (bless 🙌). I'll be real, at first I thought it might be too strong, but nope! My skin feels clean, balanced, and way smoother. The only bad part? It works so well that I get annoyed if I forget to use it and a breakout sneaks back 😂 Lesson learned: this stays in my routine, no questions asked.

I use Neutrogena's Oil free acne wash every day. Most acne products use sulfur in them. Which I am allergic to. This has salicylic acid in it, which I find it very good for acne. I love this face wash. It doesn't dry out your face, just makes it super clean and super soft! I highly recommend y!

Do not use this product! After two days the next day you’ll wake up with dry patches in your face and it’ll start peeling, I wouldn’t recommend you guys to use this! Trust me this is not a good product. I even have pictures with the dry patches on my skin! I am so man right now because i really thought this would help me with my acne but it doesn’t

I've been using this face wash since I was a teen to control my acne through all kinds of hormonal surges, cycles, and changes. On the daily, I use a more gentle face wash. But whenever I have a surprise breakout, the Neutrogena acne wash clears it up very quickly, with no additional products needed. I also sometimes use it to prevent breakouts when I anticipate one ahead of time. It works like a charm!

This was my very first cleanser ever when I first started breaking out back in middle school and it is definitely great for a beginner in skincare. Though there are better alternatives out there this cleanser is not too bad and the salicylic acid is great for acne prone skin. Just be mindful that salicylic acid can dry you out if used too often.

I don't understand why this product has a lot of negative reviews. I love this face wash! I have multiple forms of acne such as papules and blackheads. I have tried many products including dermatologist prescribed treatments that didn't work as well as this. I love how clean and smooth my skin feels after washing my face. My skin used to get dry when I first started using this face wash. What I did to help was wash my face once a day and I would use a moisturizer afterwards. Now that my skin is used to the wash I use it twice a day with or without a moisturizer. I love this product and always will!

I love that this product can be bought almost anywhere - I'm all for drug store products within my budget! I use this face wash in the morning and before bed time. It takes off my make up and all the oil built up throughout the day. I've been consistently using this face wash for months now and I haven't had any serious break outs. Love it!

I used this product for a week and for the first 2 days it was ok and then all of a sudden I woke up and my face was super dry and very itchy. Even after I stopped using it my face still feels horrible and I used moisturizer after and everything. In my opinion this was a waste of money. I am disappointed with this product.

I (thankfully) haven't had to use  Neutrogena Oil Free Acne Wash in quite a few years. But when I had the need, this was my go-to acne wash. It gently cleanses without leaving a filmy residue and did not dry out my face. Neutrogena oil free acne wash is mid-priced but, in my opinion, worth it. 

I love this product! I have very minor acne and after 2 days of using this twice a day its already starting to fade! It does leave your skin feeling a little tight and dry, but I steam my face later and that really works to relieve my face without using moisturizer (which makes my skin break out :( ) It foams really well, (bubbles came out of my nose when i washed it off :) ) smells of clean which is fine, and makes your face more shiny. However I don't think this product will be strong enough more more serious acne. Oh, I forgot to add, this does prevent well. Haven't gotten a single pimple :). Overall I like this product and will repurchase it even when my acne is gone to prevent it. LOVE IT!
