I bought this around 7 days ago and I have been using it twice a day (as recommended) and at first I saw much improvement on what acne I did have and then around yesterday I stopped using it because my face was irritated, red, and so dry. My skin is peeling and I have to do new every morning at my school and I’m getting made fun of because of it. Please look at reviews before you buy it so you don’t get out in a situation like I did.

So this was my first time buying their face wash, I've used other stuff before but nothing quite like this. I have a recurring acne problem and I thought this would help me when all else failed. Well, I was wrong. The first time I used it, my skin felt squeaky clean and tight and I thought to myself: "This might just work." However, within two days, my skin turned into a COMPLETE MESS. I broke out around the mouth, chin and jaw and I NEVER break out so close to my lips. My skin peeled off, especially around my nose, eyes and temples. My eyes can barely open from how tight the skin is. And this is with just 4 WASHES. My skin has never felt this bad, not even from tret or any other acne meds. I am in pain, discomfort and even more self-conscious than before. Even moisturizer and vaseline won't work. I don't know what to do now. Thanks, Neutrogena. I am never buying again.

I don't have major acne, but I just wanted to find a cleanser to clear away a few random spots of redness and keep it from coming back. In the end, I noticed no change... The only thing that maybe improved was the oilyness. I noticed no other change- nothing better or for worse. It is soft and smooth, easy to use, and leaves your skin smelling good.

I have always have been acne pro. When I was in high school I finally convinced my parents that i needed to go to a professional to fix my problem. When I went to the dermatologist he of course gave me some prescription products to start out but I only used it every other day and it was just a serum. The face wash that he told me to use was the acne wash by neutrogena. The whole office has us using it and my skin has never been better! I have reduced oil I don't break out unless it's that time of the month. Anyways buy it you will love it. If you use it right. Remember to be consistent and don't go I'm going to use it one day and forget about it. For this product to work use it everyday:).

I've been using this for the past year and it works wonderfully! This is the best acne face wash I've used by far. I tend to have VERY oily skin and I break out a lot. But with this face wash it clears and washes my face wonderfully! Hope to see more face washes like this!

I like this better than other brands that I’ve tried this one does not leave your face Oily or irritated like some other brands.Instructions are also easy to use so no confusion with this product at all I would say i would recommend this to friends and family.

I love this product, for the past 6 months I've been having a lot of trouble with my skin. I've tried a lot of different products and nothing has rly worked for me. Within a week my face was clearing up..all the little under the skin blackheads were gone, as well as the infected bump. I have very oily skin and since using this product I have noticed a lot of the oil is gone too. I did have to buy an oil free moisturizer for my cheeks tho, they aren't as oily as my t zone. Everyone is gripping about there skin peeling but I think that's kind of the point to an acne wash, how are u suppose to get rid of bumps and blackheads without exposing them first. It did burn the first couple times I used it but the burning has stopped now. It's strong and may not work for everyone but I'm thankful to have it.

I bought this product last weekend and only used for 2 days and my skin reacted so bad! My face is so itchy and full red rashes all over my face! It burned my upper cheeks skin and my lower eyelid skin. I am.suffering now with so much irritation and itchiness since last night! Just for 2 days that i have use this product and this is what happen already!

This has become one of my most used facial products on a daily basis. I have used oil-free acne wash for over 15 years and I love the Neutrogena brand. Most of their products are dermatologists recommended and I like that this has 2% salicylic acid in it. It is very gentle on sensitive skin and does a great job getting deep into pores without irritating the skin. It's best to use this product twice a day and work into a lather but the rinsing is very simple. Overall I would highly recommend this to anyone wanting an oil-free cleanser without having to break the bank, this is very affordable. Neutrogena has also made great products for blackheads that I would also recommend overall I am a huge fan of the brand and will continue to purchase for years to come.
