This face wash made me absolutely miserable. My skin instantly completely dried out and my face was covered in a red hot rash for about a week. I understand that a lot of people find this product works for them, but for the amount of people it causes genuine harm to, I really think it should be marketed differently. The only warning on it is against "sensitive skin" users. But my skin has NEVER been sensitive to any other product but this one. It is an incredibly harsh product that would be safer to be prescription only, at a doctor or dermatologist's recommendation.

 so here’s my thing, salicylic acid seems to do the trick for me yet on some cases benzoyl peroxide seems to do better for others this is all based on preference and how your body allows the product to work. For me Neutrogena salicylic acid definitely is key for me!

I started using this acne wash this week and within a couple days, I'm already seeing results. I have mild acne and occasionally white heads develop, and I've never found an acne wash that will clear pores and fully reduce my acne. I wash once in the morning and once before bed, and although this wash does dry out my skin, I simply apply a thin layer of moisturizer and I've found that that does the job. My skin is noticeably clearer and my break out is under control.

This product overdryed my face to the point that it hurt to speak. It burned and was extremely painful. I spoke with my pharmacist and looked up salicylic acid on webmd and was horrified to learn that it is used in removing callouses. It was just too strong for my skin.

Do not use this product! After two days the next day you’ll wake up with dry patches in your face and it’ll start peeling, I wouldn’t recommend you guys to use this! Trust me this is not a good product. I even have pictures with the dry patches on my skin! I am so man right now because i really thought this would help me with my acne but it doesn’t

I cannot express how much I LOVE this product. I was using Oil of Olay Blackhead Scrub for years, but was still having a lot of problems with blackheads on my chin, blemishes on my forhead, and a super oily nose (to the point where I could squeeze the brown oils from the giant pores on/around my nose). I bought this after doing some online research, and holy crap after 1 wash the results were awesome. The pores on my nose were visibly smaller, and after a year and a half of using this product, I now get compliments about my complexion from people who hardly know me. I will say, though, that I don't do the twice-a-day thing that the instructions say on the bottle. I only use it when I shower, more often only if I feel gunky, never more than once a day. I moisten the face, massage it on, rinse it off, pat dry my face, then finish with a bit of face lotion (I use the cheap brand in my area called Top Care). My skin feels good, compliments let me know that I look good too. If you're looking for something new, definitely give this stuff a shot.

This is an amazing face wash. It cleared up my skin with in one week. Although I did notice that my cheeks became very dry but a moisturizer helped with with that. I also did notice that the skin around my moth area started flaking and peeling off. Other than the dryness it is an amazing face wash. But I do recommend using a very good moisturizer after using this product.

I grew up on this Neutrogena facial cleanser ever since I was young & it has been one of my staples growing up that was a must have in my bathroom for face washing. I love everything about it and it just makes my face feel so smooth and clean after each wash.

I have been using this product for awhile ( years) i keep the Neutrogena oil-free acne wash with salicylic acid by my private bathroom sink. If i dont have time for a morning shower i use this to wash my face. And the grapefruit one in the shower. It removes oil off your face leaving it feeling clean and fresh. Follow up with your favorite oil free moisturizer

I got this face wash seeing it was in the top products, I am not happy with the results. While it did clear my acne it caused a ton of redness, it would also make my skin tight. After drying my face would feel dry around my nose area and around my mouth. My skin also looked like I had been running for miles it was so red. I wish there was an acne wash that cleared acne but also didn’t cause redness. I might get the hydrating facial cleanser that is more gentle on the face. If you have sensitive oily skin with a little acne I wouldn’t recommend this, especially if you are out in the sun a lot playing sports
