Quality on the sirloins went down, much tougher cut, and the chicken now has extra water and extra absorption pads along with not trimmed well, this is the only purchase that I felt the quality hasn't dipped in recent 4-6 months,

I have been buying this and making both roasts at the same time and keeping them for several meals but the price is too high now. It went from $6 a pound to $10 a pound in 2 short months - that is utterly ridiculous. We won't be buying this anymore.

This chick need roast is a lot more meat than I expected. I cooked this roast low and slow for about 8 hours and it came out so tender and flavorful. Beef is high but this was the best $30 I've spent on beef in a very long time.

Once the meat is tenderized and marinated overnight, it's ready for vegetables and seasonings into a pan until it's so tender that I don't need a knife to cut it.

I made pot roast with this chuck. It was good and flavorful. A bit fatty, but that is chuck. It wasn't delicately veined, but instead heavily veined with fat. I have had better from Sam's meat department.

Sams is the go to place for meat of all kinds. The meat is of great quality and doesn't shrink down as much that can be bought elsewhere. Since our Winn Dixie store and meat market closed, it is the only place to get good meat in our town. I get two of these great boneless chuck roasts to feed our families that total 11 with some left over for sandwiches and one of our favorites with cornbread, roast beef hash!

What's happened to SC fabulous chuck roast they've always had? Bought one with pickup order %26 when got home %26 saw it was so disappointed. About half the size %26 lots of fat. Meat texture didn't look like SC usual wonderful chuck roast. Cooked it today and meat was tough and had a different taste than before. Will have to look at these from now on %26 choose whether to buy it or not. I know the price was really high for a while so maybe SC got lesser grade meat in order to lower pricing. PLEASE go back to those fabulous chuck roast that I've bought for many many years from SC. They are worth the extra cost

We used to buy regularly but the meat has just gotten worse over time. This last round, with sharp knives, I tried to slice horizontally into thinner pieces. Went through 3 knives, including a serrated one. At first wondered what happened to dull my knives. It was the so called choice meat. It had so much connective tissue, it didn’t qualify for the choice it was supposed to be.

The roast as delicious, but the prices have really gone up.
