I've done many things with these. French Drip, Mississippi Pot Roast, cut up for stew meat (don't like the stew meat here), beef and barley soup. You can do all kinds of things with it.

Smoked it like a brisket and it came out great. Called a poor man's brisket even though it costs more per lb, I'm only buying 6 lbs. Great flavor and was very tender... After a 9 hour smoke.

We bought this pack and separated it into two portions. We enjoy making it in our crock pot, along with potatoes and vegetables. It gets so tender in the crock pot that it literally falls apart.

The quality and taste of the meat was not good. Also, the size after cooking was very small. Too much fat in the meat. I bought two and it barely fed 5 adults.

Excellent price for two med/lg roasts, also serves many more than it appears—I would guess apx 15-20 people. Taste was excellent after browned in a skillet and slow cooked in a crock pot on low setting all night. Contained very little fat.

I slow cook them in an old roasting pan in a wood fired bbq pit till tender then I open the lid to give them a bit of smoke flavor and then “pull” them for barbacoa tacos. These roasts have a good combination of lean and fat for great tacos.

I regularly buy these chuck roasts, although I prefer beef with a bone, it’s hard to find. These have good marbling and fat ratio and are very flavorful.

These came out great even for a non cook like me. My coworker gave me a pot roast recipe after I told her I’m afraid I’ll mess up a pot roast. I cooked it in a crockpot and it tasted wonderful! Next time I’ll use more gravy though

The meat prices are as good or better than the stores in my area and I like the quality of the beef though there have been a few steaks which could have been a little less chewy. Overall my purchases I am satisfied.
