No complaints, works great, but washes differently from previous washing machines. Since there is no designated permanent press wash cycle, We figured out how to do permanent press by easily adjusting temp and spin levels. We chose the 4.5 cf washer because the bottom of the washer is easily reachable to remove clothes.

When it was installed it knocked and wouldn’t go into the rinse/spin cycle, so it was replaced with a different model, same exact issue. Both the washer and dryer’s were returned and replaced with LG. We purchased the LG WT7000. It works great and cleans the clothes very well. We are extremely happy with the quality and performance of our new LG appliances!

Nothing lasts forever and all things mechanical will wear out. Repairs will be required at some point in time. But the honeymoon was too short. A friend of ours has an LG washer and dryer that are 10 years old. They run like champs. So when it came time to get a new washer we decided to try LG. We purchased our washer June 2022. This would be our 1st LG product. We were thrilled with how it worked. It was quiet and cleaned the clothes better than any other washer. Then the noise started. At 1st it was an occasional small squeaking sound. Like a dolphin off in the distance. Soon the dolphin was at our doorstep wanting to come inside. It turns out the sound was the shaft seal between the transmission and the drum. The sad thing is the sound began with only 3 months of use. We are hoping that the repair will send the dolphin home and many years of blissful use remains before us. We will see.

I bought this LG washer about a month ago and I am loving it. It is so quiet when it runs and doesn't shake like my old washer. I like the impeller washer because I wash a lot of sheets, blankets and towels. So far everything has come out clean and fully washed - though often I choose the deep wash for things like jeans and large loads of shirts. The controls are easy and I love the chime to let you know when a load is finished.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Would like more water and less time on total cycle. After all water is what cleans the laundry. Under normal cycle, barely any water goes into the machine. One shirt I got out after the cycle was done, had a dry spot on the back. More electric bill will result but not sure the laundry is all that clean. Used various cycles but the more water the less agitation is the way it seems to me.

I find it hard to believe that my sheets and towels are really getting clean when they are not actually submerged under water. I wish the cute little music at the end was louder. I usually don't hear it over the TV. I could not locate the manual on line. I would like a better description of each setting so I know what type of laundry to set it at.

Love my new LG washer! It runs like a champ and does a great job cleaning our clothes. You are able to select a deep wash setting, which is a big plus. I highly recommend it. We previously had a front loading washer, which we only had for 8 years and left your clothes smelling like detergent, even after double rinsing. Thank you for making a great top load washer at a great value too. I would highly recommended it.

We bought a LG washing machine in November 2024. In July 2025 a piece of the door hinge broke. We contacted customer service and spoke to a very rude customer service rep. She kept telling us the machine was fine since an error code wasn't showing. After going round and round with her about still needing a repair man to come look at our broken henge, she sighed and told us if the tech came out and it wasn't a warranty issue, we would have to pay for a service call. The tech came out and had to order a new door for our washing machine. He came out on Aug. 5th and repaired the door. While he was repairing the door he moved the machine and hit the drainpipe under the machine causing it to come through the ceiling in our kitchen below. We have been going round and round with their offshore customer service trying to get the ceiling repaired> They keep telling us a "Presidential liaison" will call us back in 24-28 hours and no one ever calls us back!!!! This is the worst customer service I have ever had to deal with!!! We are still trying to resolve this issue!
