I purchased my LG wash machine recently to replace an older LG wash machine which finally needed to be replaced. We really do like this new one, and it actually looks and cleans better than the old machine. I like the control panel at the back end of the unit.

Once I learned how to use it, I love it! Very quiet, but the cycles are longer than my old washer. I think it has to do with energy & water efficiency. The one thing I don't like is the detergent drawer. It holds water and will eventually cause mold/mildew. So, after a load finishes, and I get the clothes out, I pull the drawer out and remove the blue part and empty the water and wipe out the drawer. I have only had it for 2 months, so no problem with mold yet.

I stumbled across this one on consumer reports. I have a 12 year old LG LED TV and it’s still going strong so I know LG makes quality products. When I installed the washer it was super quiet until the spin and rinse cycle. It was shaking quite a bit more than my old one and making a machine gun like noise. I reached out to customer service and within a week had a technician come out to my place. He was super friendly and knowledgeable and said the new washers spin at a higher rate so the clothes dry faster. He also found that my cords and drain line were hitting the back wall causing the machine gun like noise. He adjusted the cords and drain line and after that I didn’t hear any noise. I’m glad the shaking is normal. When I throw my laundry in the dryer it takes half the time to dry them since the washer has a higher spin cycle. So to sum it up, washer is great and cleans my clothes, plus they dry a lot faster now too! Highly recommend this washer!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] 2nd time the charm (1rst smooshed before I could get it) but this one works great. Fills up spins almost completely dry and hasn’t gotten unbalanced yet. I had a previous model of this but it died after 7 years. I like the impeller design.

I LOVE this LG washer! It arrived and set-up within minutes. This is my first impeller machine and love the fact that it holds any size load…even comforters. It has enough selections from delicates to super wash. I would purchase this again. I even recommended it to my mother and she got the exact same model.

Its quiet, it gets thing really clean and it gets clothes washed in less time than my previous washing machines. Its up to date and its Modern. Easy push button technology and it also has the Blue Tooth technology. I highly recommend this washing machine for the reasons I listed above. Lastly, LG is proving to be a true Leader in the Appliance Products Industry.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Used washer and dryer a few times and still baffled by the washer. The impeller technology cleans the clothes but when one watches it, it's hard to figure how it works. Still mystified on how to override default settings.

Nothing lasts forever and all things mechanical will wear out. Repairs will be required at some point in time. But the honeymoon was too short. A friend of ours has an LG washer and dryer that are 10 years old. They run like champs. So when it came time to get a new washer we decided to try LG. We purchased our washer June 2022. This would be our 1st LG product. We were thrilled with how it worked. It was quiet and cleaned the clothes better than any other washer. Then the noise started. At 1st it was an occasional small squeaking sound. Like a dolphin off in the distance. Soon the dolphin was at our doorstep wanting to come inside. It turns out the sound was the shaft seal between the transmission and the drum. The sad thing is the sound began with only 3 months of use. We are hoping that the repair will send the dolphin home and many years of blissful use remains before us. We will see.

Overall the washer performs well with two exceptions. The detergent and softener trays are filled with water after the completion of a cycle . The detergent tray is removable allowing us to empty the water in the sink. The softener tray is not removable. The washer's lead need to be open for several days to let the water evaporate. The other exception is the washer doesn't handle load balance well. Loads become unbalanced easily. Larger unbalanced loads require turning off the cycle to manually balance the load.

This dryer is a little over a year old. If constantly is stopping when the automatic settings are used. It is constantly giving an error code to clean the filter and turning off, when no lint is in the filter. I’ve checked the dryer vent from top to bottom. There are no obstructions. I love LG products but am completely disappointed in this dryer
