[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When our old washer died, we went to a store and were intrigued by the washers with a glass top. I was so fascinated by my first wash that I laid my cellphone on the glass lid and took a long video. I love that it tells you how many minutes the entire cycle will take. And OMG, it plays a happy tune when it's done. I literally skip to the laundry room when I hear it. Many clothes are coming out of the wash much softer that ever before.

This dryer is a little over a year old. If constantly is stopping when the automatic settings are used. It is constantly giving an error code to clean the filter and turning off, when no lint is in the filter. I’ve checked the dryer vent from top to bottom. There are no obstructions. I love LG products but am completely disappointed in this dryer

I would like to tell you how the washing machine works as LG has asked in their e-mail, but LG hasn't delivered it yet. They told me a delivery date and when the day came, i had to call them to find out that their shipping company hadn't scheduled delivery yet. Delivery was thwn scheduled for 3 weeks later. LG was only willing to give me empty words of apology and unwilling to do anything to help or accommodate me. Buy from somebody else.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I needed a new washer as my old one was 30 years old and stopped working. I spent hours scouring the internet and reading reviews. I stumbled across this one on consumer reports. I have a 12 year old LG LED TV and it’s still going strong so I know LG makes quality products. When I installed the washer it was super quiet until the spin and rinse cycle. It was shaking quite a bit more than my old one and making a machine gun like noise. I reached out to customer service and within a week had a technician come out to my place. He was super friendly and knowledgeable and said the new washers spin at a higher rate so the clothes dry faster. He also found that my cords and drain line were hitting the back wall causing the machine gun like noise. He adjusted the cords and drain line and after that I didn’t hear any noise. I’m glad the shaking is normal. When I throw my laundry in the dryer it takes half the time to dry them since the washer has a higher spin cycle. So to sum it up, washer is great and cleans my clothes, plus they dry a lot faster now too! Highly recommend this washer!

After 25 years I replaced my old washer with the LG WT7000CW. I was a bit intimidated at first by all the electronic features but after using this for awhile I am highly impressed. When I saw the first load I was astonished at how little water was needed. I was worried at first but soon discovered that my clothes came out perfectly clean. I like being able to see the wash cycles through the glass lid. Cute chimes play when the load is done. There are a lot of features here to accommodate size of load, soil levels and spin cycles. I am loving this product so far and am very glad I chose this model.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We’ve only had this washer a few months but it’s definitely getting used frequently. We’ve only had one issue of it leaking water somehow that worried us but we figured out the hard freeze caused the problem. It hasn’t had any issues since!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I read many reviews on many washers and felt a bit overwhelmed. In the end, this LG top-load washer was our final decision. We've had it for about a month and we're very pleased. As others said, your clothes are not completely covered in water, but it appears to be plenty of water to get the clothes clean. Our family doesn't get muddy on a regular basis but we exercise several times a week so our clothes get sweaty. This washer has done a great job at getting everything from sheets, jeans, sweaty gym clothes, and t-shirts clean. We don't use a lot of settings. I use the 'normal' setting 95% of the time and the washer has performed well. It's not a loud machine and it doesn't rattle around. The only thing we had trouble with was the initial test after we installed it. Don't bother calling customer service, just look it up on YouTube, it's a LOT faster. The trick is to press all the buttons before the initial chime ends.

I tried using the bedding setting for just sheets to prevent this from happening, but it uses a lot of water and put the machine off balance in the spin. To rebalance itself, it automatically did a 2nd rinse to redistribute the laundry in the tub. That wasted a lot of water. I would have preferred a notification that the load iwas unbalanced that would stop the spin and allow me to open the lid to manually redistribute the laundry by hand. You could always redistribute wash with the old machines. If I see that a spin may be unbalanced before it starts, I would like to be able to pause the cycle, open the lid, and redistribute by hand. Additionally, with old machine, after it extracted the soapy water, it would spin out the water and then spray water from the side onto the clothes during the spin to begin a rinse. That water was pulled through the clothes, rinsing them off while spinning. The spin would then stop and the tub would fill for the final full rinse. In the past, lids did not lock except during the spin. There should be a way to pause the cycle and open the lid before a spin to manually redistribute clothes if you need to.

Super well reviewed and it has been a solid performer so far. Amazed how little water is used to clean clothes and how dry the wash is after a high speed spin. Super clean clothes. Super quiet.

I LOVE this LG washer! It arrived and set-up within minutes. This is my first impeller machine and love the fact that it holds any size load…even comforters. It has enough selections from delicates to super wash. I would purchase this again. I even recommended it to my mother and she got the exact same model.
