The actual function of the machine seems to be ok. I am able to wash my clothes and I'm fairly satisfied with the cleanliness of the clothes. My disappointment lies in my inability to use the app to control the machine. I rolled the instructions and I downloaded the thin q app, but it won't connect. This feature was on of the main features that drew me to purchase it.

Try these steps to get everything connected: First, make sure your washer and mobile device are on the same Wi-Fi network. Then, try power cycling the washer by unplugging it for 30 seconds and plugging it back in. Also, check that the ThinQ app is updated to the latest version from the Google Play or Apple App Store. If needed, open the app, tap the plus sign to add a product, and scan the QR code inside the washer or add it manually. Lastly, ensure your router isn’t limiting connections or blocking devices. LG Please come pick this up and leave a refund
Drum half full, it fills up with enough water to wash one bath towel. Machine lies about the time it will take. 5 out of seven loads have leveling errors and stops. This in in a basement. Constant fake washing cycles. Clothes don’t get clean, Hours or even days to get one half drum load done. Misery. Does LG even have a quality assurance department? Freaking horrific. I am requesting a full refund. Please pick this thing up so I don’t have to send you a bill for my personal time, gas, and the removal of the horrible reviews I’m about to start leaving across the web. If no efforts are made before May 10, 2023, I will spend one hour per day sharing a copy of this review.

Better if it pulled all laundry under the water.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had a previous front-load LG washer that lasted 28 years. This one unfortunately does not pull all the laundry under the water, but instead moves it side to side. I have to push the laundry under the water by pausing the wash, then start it up again. The same problem happens with rinsing, it does not pull all the laundry under the water, but instead moves it side to side.

Items break but company response was poor
Purchased this in August of 2023 and exactly 12 months after purchase my house was flooded due to cut-off valve malfunction. Issue has since been fixed and is currently working fine but it took weeks to get it resolved and only after following up with LG multiple times a week. It shouldn't take a month to resolve an issue when the part arrived within 4 days after issue was diagnosed. Hopefully no more issues but time will tell. Based on recent experience giving 2 stars is probably generous.

Great basic top load washer
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very pleased with this washer. Tub has good large capacity. Wash selector has plenty of options. Spin cycle gets the water out so well that clothes spend shorter times in the dryer than our previous front load washer.
Fantastic washer!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this last month and have been extremely satisfied. Every function works well and exceeds our expectations. Love the clear lid—no need to open it and stop the load to see what is happening.
No spin only cycle
This washer is not user friendly and the online users manual is disappointing. It basically just mentions the different functions and does not go into detail about operating them. I researched online and still was unable to find information on spin cycle. The biggest disappointment with this washer is that there is NO SPIN ONLY option. I would not have purchased this washer had I known that. The other disappointment with this washer is that it doesn’t remove stains unless “water plus” is added, which defeats the point of buying a water saving washer. Plus, the “water plus” feature soaks the clothes. I do not need my clothes to be soaked, I just want to add water to the load.

Great features
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased my LG washer a month ago and was very pleased that I did. The washer has excellent performance. I like everything about it The machine is way much better compared to one the I had before which lasted only for three years I would highly recommend LG products.
SAVE YOUR MONEY DON’T BUY
DO NOT BUY this is horrible it doesn’t even wash your clothes you would be better of buying a bucket and filling it with water and washing your clothes like that! SUCH A WASTE OF MONEY when you wash the clothes it comes out with white marks on it. THIS WASHING MACHINE DOES NOTHING!! Save your money and don’t buy

Not a fan of turbo drum..
Agitators pull the clothes down through the water. The turbo drum just swishes the clothes around. At the end of an hour cycle, I still have clothes on top that are dry. So you know the clothes have not been cleaned thoroughly. Will not be purchasing this design again.
