Purchased this generator back in Jan 22. Broke-in exactly how manufacturer recommended. It didn’t even last the first 10hr run time of 50% load the valve cover blew up spraying oil everywhere. I’m extremely disappointed especially since it was the 2nd time I used it. We will see if the warranty gets honored.

We got this generator as an everyday tool for our business, it worked great the first 4 days and on the fifth day after 3 hours of use suddenly it started misfiring and died, we changed to propane and it didn't start, it had spark at the plug, fresh gas / propane, and it just quit working, we thought it been a larger brand name was going to work flawlessly, bad experience with this generator, I don't know if it been double fuel has to do with it failing so bad, but I'll stick to gasoline in the future.

I bought this for camping at Talladega Superspeedway and we ran it for about 8 hours over the first 2 days there, no more than 10. It was running but we noticed that we lost electricity to our camper and eventually figured out that the generator had stopped outputting power. The voltmeter was blank and none of the circuit breakers tripped, it simply quit suddenly for no reason. Darn near ruined our race weekend. Do not recommend, it is not reliable!

Purchased, and only started to meet manufacturers guidelines and other user recommendations to start up and run for short periods every so often. Went to start it up for annual check and it started leaking gas everywhere. Westinghouse was great and sent us a replacement because of a recall, but the new one won't even start - the part you pull to start it does nothing - so we've had to go back to Westinghouse again. So now we have two of these sitting at our house and both are unusable and we're not sure what Westinghouse is going to do. Wish I'd bought extended warranty - have only owned 1.5 years but it's too late to take back to Sams. AVOID THIS PRODUCT.

We loved the price and capability but it's much much louder than we expected based on the DB level listed. We tested it at 15 ft and it was about 87db instead of the listed 62db. Too loud for a polite use in an RV park but okay for around our property and if we boondock our RV.

I ordered four of these for Christmas presents. I had to return one of them because of hidden damage. I have ordered a replacement and received it. Upon opening the package we have again found damage. It seems that the factory final inspection prior to packaging and shipping is not doing a very good job. Again we are tasked with returning it. Then to problem of reordering and waiting for another delivery.

Unit came with dented generator cover but that was just cosmetic. Box was fine, not even creased on either end so tough to explain this damage but that's just the beginning.Installed wheels and feet filled with oil and added gas. Pulled a couple of dozen times, NO START. Gas valve was on, run switch was on and choke was fully on (so I thought). Pulled spark plug and it was fouled with gritty black debris and wet with gas. See picture of this and top of piston attached. This was a hard sandy grit! Clean plug and vacuumed out the cylinder then blew out with compressed air. Put back together STILL NO START, but significant backfires. Removed air cleaner to look at choke and although in the full ON position it was hung up about 3/4 open I could work it past some hang up points but it would always hang up in the same spots when using the lever which uses a spring to position it. Made sure it was fully closed and pulled a few dozen more times with air cleaner still off. Then big backfire and the air cleaner housing was ON FIRE!!!!!!!. Small fire, blew this out, put back together drained gas and immediately returned it directly to my local Sam's Club. No problem with the return and no problem with the recoil starter like some other reviewers seem to have had. I must have pulled it 200 times and that part still worked fine. This thing is GARBAGE people! Purchase at your own risk but don't say I didn't warn you.

I purchased this a couple of weeks ago. I haven`t had to use it yet for no power. But I did want to make sure it worked. Put the oil, gas and connected the battery and it cranked right up. We love it . Not to loud. We`re ready now for when the power goes out.

Bought this to be prepared for NC snowstorms so I could have peace of mind for my toddler. Excited about the dual fuel option. Started up no trouble on gas. Haven't tried propane yet. Lots of options when it comes to power and plenty to take care of our needs!

It helped us when we needed it. Started and ran fine. It did well for the 1st 12 hours and then developed a leak around an oil line. Small rubber grommet vibrated loose. I was able to push it back in place and keep it going but had to keep an eye on it because it worked loose again. Thank goodness it apparently has a low oil shutoff.
