I'd buy more if I needed them

I did think this would be a bigger unit but was relieved to see it isnt. It is very easy to pull start and purrs like a dream. We bought this expecting a loss of power where we live due to snow storms and thankfully didnt have to use it this time. As far as noise goes I honestly dont think its all too bad. I've grown up with older generators that I thought were super loud so it could just be me too.

A great value for a powerful generator.

An outstanding generator. Well thought out and has enough power for most short-term outages. What I like best about this unit is the dual fuel feature. Imagine being able to use a BBQ grill LP tank instead of having to go out to purchase gasoline. Propane does not get stale, whereas gasoline does. Not only that, a year goes by and you haven't used it with gasoline, and the carburetor can become clogged and gunky. You're good if you use this generator for everyday worksite stuff. I purchased it for backup, and LP is the only way to go. This sucker is heavy, but it has wheels. You won't be picking it up to carry anywhere, but you can certainly roll it around easily.

Replaced my Generac GP6500

Just got it and test ran using only propane plugged in through my transfer switch / interlock breaker and it handled the load just fine. Ran everything I wanted: refrig, tv, cable, wifi, lights, and computers. Haven’t run gas yet because I didnt want gas sitting in the tank until necessary. Apparently gas provides even more power than propane. Comes with oil, funnel and spark plug tool. So far so good.

Good generator, but really heavy

The generator itself seems good based on the test run using both fuel sources. However, I was dismayed to pay full price for a unit that arrived damaged (frame is bent). I can live with it, but clearly this unit is so heavy that it is posing shipping problems, based on my review and others I read before purchasing. I’m sure the FedEx delivery guy literally cartwheeling the box up my driveway did not help the final arrival condition.

Powerful little generator

This is a powerful little generator. I wanted to get one that ran on propane and gasoline as well. The first weekend that we had it, I used it straight for about 48 hours, powering a 22 foot RV as well as a portable air conditioning unit inside the house that we were working in. It is small but very powerful.

Great Generator at a great price. A MUST BUY

Definitely worth the price. I have more of a sense of security for my family now that i own this. I live in Florida and have gone through many hurricanes where i was without power for over a month on more than one occasion, losing everything in my fridge and freezer, sweating day and night. Now i can breathe a sigh of relief knowing i have a good quality generator that taks both propane and gasoline in case ofan emergency.

Good buy!

I recently purchased the WGen 5300DFv Duel Fuel Portable Generator, but I have not used it yet (why I'm only giving it four stars). Looks to be built well and simple to use. I received the generaor sooner than expected for the shipping date! The one problem I do have with genrator is filling the oil tank. It was difficult putting the oil container's spout into the side at the bottom of generator.

Great value

This generator seems to be a great value. It is dual fuel and has connections for standard 120, 30 amp RV, or 4 prong for connecting to the house. We have not used it yet but are looking forward to giving it a shot. It arrived much quicker than anticipated.

Very Pleased So Far

Bought this dual fuel model to replace my old gas only powered generator (which won't seem to start due to old bad fuel in the carb). Ran this yesterday on propane for the first time (60 minutes to break it in with no load followed by 15 minutes powering circuits in my house). Worked perfectly. Runs really well (much better than I remember my old generator running). This thing is heavy duty and is a GREAT VALUE at ~$450. Can't touch any similarly spec'd generator (dual fuel) in that price range.

Powerful, Durable

After going through 3 hurricanes in 2 months, we desperately needed a reliable power source when the power goes out. This generator was easy to use and it was able to connect to our power box to supply electricity to the front half of our home effortlessly. It runs off of gasoline and propane and the price was reasonable. I definitely recommend!
