I bought this because a huge derecho came through and knocked out power to almost all of Northwest Indiana. I was pleased with this generator, especially the ability to switch from gasoline to propane seamlessly. I was able to charge what I needed to charge, keep a refrigerator and freezer going, run my sump pump and wifi router. It saved me some heartache with regard to storm recovery.

I shopped for about a week and with all the products out there naturally became confused......so.......I made a list of all the requirements I was looking for and started eliminating. Allow me to list some positives...!) Electric start, 2) Dual fuel, 3) Running Watts of 5300, 4) Peak Watts of 6500, 5) Voltage output selection, 6) four post hookup for 30 amp along with regular 30 amp hookup plus the regular 20 amp plugin, 7) Found out after receiving, quite running.. I also liked the weight of the unit along with wheels for moving around....BUT MOST OF ALL,,,, Its a Westinghouse...It had others beat all around....NO NEGATIVE to list......OH YEAH....Price was best for comparable product.....A winner all around.

I bought this a few weeks ago and I waiting to use it. I know it's an exceptional product. I read the reviews and I figured I had to buy one. I will make another review and let you all know about it.

Bought this several years ago we hardly get bad weather down in South Texas started it up today and it started quickly And is working great finally got to use it and I’m glad I had it here

We just went through 2 F1 and F2 Tornados and need this for our home. We are in our 60s and could have used this generator years ago but finally got wise and got one.

Bought this product after a storm when power was out. This powerhouse kept my family's fridge and freezer going without any issues. Mighty proud of this purchase.

I bought this generator last year never used it had to use it this August during after a tornado it worked for eight hours then wouldn't start again after I put gas in it I don't know what the problem is but I need to have it fixed I had to go out and borrow a generator from somebody else cause my power was out please help me with this problem I believe it might have something to do with the CO detector

Received mine Sept 14 2020. Followed the instructions to a tee and went thru the generator checked and double checked before starting. Hooked up my LP tank and 3rd pulled fired right up and I was stoked. Upon starting noticed white smoke bellowing from exhaust. Said to myself probably got tossed around in shipping so I will wait during my 1hr break in with no load according to manual. After 30min still blowing white smoke so I continued on with the break in period. After 1hr of running still blowing white smoke so I shut it off and checked oil level. Dip stick showed it had dropped well below half way mark on the cross hatches. Next day went to fire it up again in case tinker bell had some how fixed the issue during the night. Once started continued to blow smoke and after 10 min shut it down. Each time I shut it off I would wait 30min to 45min for the oil to settle so i could check. But this time dip stick showed oil well below, this told me it was burning oil fast. Drained what ever oil was left to get ready for return and could tells significant oil loss which told it was a internal problem in the motor. Contacted Westinghouse CS in regards to the issue on Sept.14th. 2020 and she started and opened a case #SC64858. Told me a technician would get back with me. As of writing this Sept.19th 2020, still no one has gotten back with. Generator was returned.

I ordered this generator to take to family in Louisiana after Hurricane Ida. The generator was delivered to me in a horrific condition. I’ll let the attached pictures speak for themselves. Westinghouse customer service is horrible. I’ve been waiting on a response from them for over a week. I just called again yesterday and a third part service is answering and just taking messages. Do not buy any Westinghouse product if you’re looking for good customer service. I know they have slot of positive reviews on the website but that’s because they give you a free generator cover if you complete a review with omg the first 30 days of purchase. What really goes wrong within the first 30 days unless you receive a beat up unit like I did which you can see by the pictures I’m posting.

Frame was poorly made , the nuts welded to the frame to attach the feet were crooked, so you couldn’t put the bolts in without stripping or breaking them off.
