We used this 24/7 for 27 days straight until our power came back. After Hurricane Laura devastated our area, there was no telling when thsy would be so we knew we had to be prepared! We stopped it only for oil changes or when we weren't home. It started on the 1st or 2nd pull every time. it ran 2 refrigerators, a 5000 BTU window unit, a washing machine, an Instant Pot, 2 lamps, 2 fans, and charged all of our phones no problem. Probability could have ran the whole house but the hurricane destroyed our power box so we couldn't try that. With what we did run, we ran thorough about 7 gallons of fuel a day, so it is extremely fuel efficient. I have no doubt this generator will last for years to come and will happily recommend it to everyone I know.

This is my second Westinghouse generator. The other is an inverter style, this one is quite surprisingly quiet for an open frame style. It is louder than the inverter, but nowhere near as liud as my other open frame generators in this class. Great overall use, nice to have the option of selectung voltage to conserve fuel qhen 240 is not needed. In dual fuel os a must for all generators i purchas in the future.

You can't go wrong with this unit...it has all the features you would expect in a higher priced unit! The frequency gage and runtime hours are great! I will only be using propane to run since it will not foul the carburetor or spark plug. I have been testing the unit with a 3KW load and it performs flawlessly...I expect to get many years of service.

Bought this dual fuel model to replace my old gas only powered generator (which won't seem to start due to old bad fuel in the carb). Ran this yesterday on propane for the first time (60 minutes to break it in with no load followed by 15 minutes powering circuits in my house). Worked perfectly. Runs really well (much better than I remember my old generator running). This thing is heavy duty and is a GREAT VALUE at ~$450. Can't touch any similarly spec'd generator (dual fuel) in that price range.

We loved the price and capability but it's much much louder than we expected based on the DB level listed. We tested it at 15 ft and it was about 87db instead of the listed 62db. Too loud for a polite use in an RV park but okay for around our property and if we boondock our RV.

Good while it lasted. Bought it 2 weeks before a hurricane (Ian). Turned on fine. Worked great lasted 2 days while I had no power. The morning before my electricity came back it would not turn on again. Seems like the fuel selector went bad.

I ordered four of these for Christmas presents. I had to return one of them because of hidden damage. I have ordered a replacement and received it. Upon opening the package we have again found damage. It seems that the factory final inspection prior to packaging and shipping is not doing a very good job. Again we are tasked with returning it. Then to problem of reordering and waiting for another delivery.

I ordered this generator to take to family in Louisiana after Hurricane Ida. The generator was delivered to me in a horrific condition. I’ll let the attached pictures speak for themselves. Westinghouse customer service is horrible. I’ve been waiting on a response from them for over a week. I just called again yesterday and a third part service is answering and just taking messages. Do not buy any Westinghouse product if you’re looking for good customer service. I know they have slot of positive reviews on the website but that’s because they give you a free generator cover if you complete a review with omg the first 30 days of purchase. What really goes wrong within the first 30 days unless you receive a beat up unit like I did which you can see by the pictures I’m posting.

Frame was poorly made , the nuts welded to the frame to attach the feet were crooked, so you couldn’t put the bolts in without stripping or breaking them off.

Came with design flaw. Handle hits air filter house and damaged it. Initial call to report went well. It’s been 2 weeks and no follow up from company yet.
