I bought this product to prepare us for the upcoming hurricane season, to test it we powered it up and plugged in quite a few appliances and it was able to provide electricity to a lot more than we originally believed. It is a perfect size to store away while not in use.

I bought this two days ago and I’m glad I did. It really stood up in the aftermath of an ice storm. We were able to plug in our refrigerator, heaters and other appliances to last us over 3 days non stop. I would highly recommend this generator during emergencies. It really held up to its promise and I’m glad we purchased it when we did.

I looked at several big box stores, and compared prices among several brands. For wattage vs cost, this generator was the best value. Assembly was very easy. The necessary basic tools are included, and the wheels attach with cotter pins. Assembly took maybe 5 minutes. Oil comes drained and will need to be filled with the included oil bottle. The generator fired up on the first pull. Idled just fine for a few minutes. I only tried using a 1/2" impact wrench to remove/install a trailer tire, although it was purchased for hurricane preparation. Whenever I pressed the trigger on the impact wrench, the engine would very briefly hiccup but ran fine overall, and otherwise had no electrical or engine issues. I assume that's normal when applying an electrical load. It's certainly not quiet, but I would guess that most aren't. It's my first generator, and at this time I have no regrets. As long as it keeps doing what it's doing, you can't really beat the price, and the 3-year warranty seems fair.

I am a first time generator owner. I just bought this in expectancy of a winter storm. I love the power it has compared to other brands as well as the cost for the equivalent wattage. Quality built and very easy to understand how to use. I just wish it came with an hour meter, not a complaint, just a small suggestion.

I bought this hoping to never use it, I hadn't for a while then I got a message that in the middle of April the electric company would be doing service and turning off the power for 3 hours!!! This is during the spring thaw, so my sump pump runs every 30 seconds!!! Thankfully I had the generator, and it saved my home and my sanity!! It was absolutely worth every penny!!

Just bought this generator in case of power outage and haven’t used it yet, but I wanted the storage cover from this review. Outside of operation, this generator has great information and packed well. This review could be bumped up a star but it wouldn’t be a fair review since I haven’t used it yet.

I received the unit and inspected all around and found an air cover clip broken off. There were some slight bends in the frame, but nothing to keep it from operating. I filled the generator with oil and gas and ran the 1 hour break-in and then plugged in a space heater that put a load on and no problems. I plan to store it until I have the house wired to accept generator power and that will be the test.

I bought this generator just before a severe winter storm in December 2022. Our neighborhood lost power for about18 hours while the temperature plummeted -18 F. I used it to run our furnace. If we did not have the generator, our pipes would have burst. I was fortunate enough to found one that day. I will feel more secure in the future.

Bought this generator for house backup power. Excited to try it out on a fridge, furnace and some other small appliances. Should have no problem running it all. I love the duel fuel option, that’s what sold me on this unit. For the price you certainly can’t beat having the propane as a backup option. Living in NY, we constantly lose power during snow storms so this will certainly get good use.

I actually purchased this generator based on the ability of the dual fuel option. I was amazed at the simplicity of assembly required prior to operation, and how well thought out the enclosed instructions were prepared. This equipment is simplistic in nature, and more than capable to meet my needs during a power outage. I’m sure I will enjoy this unit for years to come. Easy to assemble, (4 bolts, wrench provided, 2 spring clips, and a quart of oil (with funnel) and your’re good to go on either fuel, gas or propane. What’s not to like? 👍
