Quieter than I expected. Easy to assemble and started easily. Seems like a good unit. You have to choose what voltage will be generated via the switch, The 120v receptacles won't work when 240v is selected & vice versa. Not a big deal but a little inconvenient.

Purchased this generator to have for emergencies. It is able to power our essential items like refrigerator and some lights. I have only ran it off of propane. I specific purchased this model for the dual fuel. I have no plans to use gasoline unless I must so I don't have to worry about fuel going bad and gumming up the carb.

Bought this for the inevitable power outage that gets us when least expected. Now that I have this generator at the ready, there has been no power outage in my area....but I am ready for when there is. After filling the oil,, it starts and runs easy enough, but that is all I have done so far.

Bought this model to best fit our needs both at home, camping, and potential work sites. Not overly loud though I bet a better muffler would quiet it down some and I would pay the slight upcharge to get that at this level. It's a standard genset which means high THD. I connected to our house and it powered all our devices. We have LED lights every where and there was an occasional flicker but was acceptable. Plasma and LED tv's, printers, cable boxes, etc. all operated normally. I found nothing that was an issue other than the flicker in the LED bulbs. Not worth going into details on THD here but I am an electrician, school trained, over 35 years experience and wasn't too worried about the electronics because of the use of switch mode power supplies in those. LED bulbs don't have them. The wheels/mounts are wimpy for constant moving so that might be an issue later. Started right up and I don't see an issue there yet. Loaded it down to about 75% with no issues. NG connection would be nice but I can buy a converter kit for that. In a true emergency, I can run it on NG the idiot way (youtube it) in a pinch. Like I said, this size is right for us to be mobile, lift into a truck bed, power the house if needed, or supply power camping with a modicum of noise. At 240v, the 30A outlet is perfect for almost everything in the house with some common sense. I measured our typical evening use at 14A leg one and 19A leg two. That's three tv's, lights all over, all the usual stuff (clocks, etc.) with vampire draw, two frig's, one deep freeze, etc. No problems.

Completed the 1 hour breakin and tested under load, works as advertised. Good instructions for startup and operation. Wish they would explain why not to switch between 120/240 while running. I see nothing in the schematic that would hurt anything if there is no load (I'm an engineer). Only problem I have had is I can not get it started when on propane. Even after running on propane it will not restart on propane. Need to use ether starting fluid or switch to gasoline. Perhaps I am too much of a girley man to pull it hard enough. An electric start option would be good.

We had to buy this during Hurricane Ida when the power went out, it was great since we had the ability to use dual fuel and propane was a lot easier to obtain then gas. Easy setup and great to use now every now and then to throw parties and clean our cars.

In 2021, San Antonio had an “abnormal” winter, with as much as 8” of snow. There were serious power outage issues in the area. This generator give me peace of mind for the upcoming winter. The Farmer’s Almanac says this winter will be at least as bad.

I am a homesteader and live completely offgrid. Solar and generator are my main sources of power and they must be reliable. This is!!!! This generator starts everytime with absolutely no issues, runs smooth and is surprisingly great on gas. Just change the oil often. I cannot stress that enough. I finally found a good one!!!!

As of now, My generator has been excellent. I haven’t yet had the opportunity to really test it during a power outage, or any other time of need, but it came just about fully assembled and without hassle. After installing the wheels and feet, I simply poured in the oil, started it up after a few pulls, and run it through the 1 hour break in cycle without any issues. given the specs and features, I feel confident it will stand up to anything I’d ever need it for.

So far very impressed with the initial operation of this machine. Fired up right away. I will be using only non ethanol gas. You spend a little more but this way you never have to worry about deteriorating the carburetor.I will also be using propane gas. I still need to test that. Great price, money well invested.
