I purchased this just over two years ago, used maybe 150hrs, then it quit. It started a real slight clatter, then nothing. No compression. I've had it sitting about 6mos now. Finally got the time to look into it. Low-n-behold, a valve retainer broke, valve dropped into cylinder, piston pushed it up through the head. Good thing about it, it only cracked the piston (didn't break it, no scaring in the cylinder) just the top end rework.

I just purchased the WGen5300DFcv duel fuel of gas and propane, generator in excellent condition out of the box. Read manual and start up procedures, generator runs and sounds great. Tested CO function by allowing exhaust to blow in snowblower shut outside and in 20 seconds the generator shut down promptly! Great safety feature. I will run on propane this Friday to test it on alternative fuel supply. The wheel kit makes generator easy to move and I also purchased running generator cover for inclement weather conditions. All in all great product.

I bought this unit a month ago for a trip out to the western states. Dry camped for 1 week in our 30 foot travel trailer and ran the whole camper with this unit including a single a/c on propane only without a single hiccup. Very nice unit, starts on the 2nd or 3rd pull every time.

Weighs a little more than as advertised however works great. Instructions are very clear except the step requiring the on/off switch be placed in the "run" position is left off. It's easily understood however by review of the section on gasoline start/operation.

We bought this product several months ago and it has never l Let me down I!!!!! My husband is on the road a lot and I am able to use the pull start on my own...old lady-ish and all!! lol The peace of mind I have now is so reassuring, especially when I'm home alone. We live in an RV and the power goes out quite often, unfortunately. Thank you Westinghouse!! I will be purchasing an upgrade from you!!

This generator has great features and can be operated on either propane or gasoline. Being able to run on propane is great if you want to test run the generator as you don't have to drain the gas out to place it back into storage. The data center is great for keeping track of run hours so you know when to perform maintenance tasks.

I bought it today and it fired right up and ran amazing. We were out of power and it made our life way easier. The packaging and stuff that came with it was awesome too. Generators don’t usually come with a little tool bag and kit. We love our generator

I bought this when calling for winter weather (snow, ice, power outages) and it worked great. I wanted a generator that could use more than just gas and this one is dual fuel and is easy to change from one fuel type to the next. It is heavy so the wheels are very useful. This generator is also quiet but can power multiple items at a time.

unboxed the generator and it was packaged well, no damage. wheels and feet went on easily. wheels are plastic and one piece and should be durable enough for garage to transfer switch use. I like the idea of covered outlets for the ones not being used. really liked the oil fill tube that screws in so there is no mess. am keeping the .7l bottle the oil came in so i can fill it up and be siure to know when I change the oil that i dont over fill it and cause a mess. looking foreard to testing it later today

4th Generator purchased for Hurricane Ida and the best one by far. Dual fuel feature and quietness of unit is far better than all 3 other units. Ease of assembly much better and oil access with screw on funnel fantastic and a lot less messy than others.
