I purchased this generator about 8 months ago. It operates as advertised, and helped us manage power needs through three separate power outages. Powers our fridge, wifi, etc. without issue. The dual fuel option is a plus. Changing the oil is a pain but that's the norm with these small engine units.

The first generator I received had been damaged in transit. It must have been dropped as the frame was bent, which made the wheels rub the frame when installed. I was concerned there might be hidden motor damage as well, so I requested a replacement. This was completed and a replacement generator received within 10 days. The replacement is fine. I will begin the break In process this weekend. I noted a previous review that changed the oil multiple times until it was clean (no metal shavings) so I will do that. I also purchased gas stabilizer to extend the life of the gas in the generator and the gas tank up to two years.

I own a lot of generators (live on a ranch and need power at various barns and outbuildings) and I needed a smaller generator that was easier to move than the military surplus monsters I own. I bought this little generator to use in the back of a 4x4 Kubota to run power tools. Worked great for that purpose. Yesterday, a storm blows in (New Years Eve) and ice takes down a lot of power lines and shuts down various electric substations. It was wicked cold and our house is all electric. I decided the bring this generator up near my house to run a couple of space heaters because the power company advised this outage would take 24 hours to resolve. This little generator ran all night and ran a space heater keeping us comfortable. I gassed it up and as I write this review, the generator is powering our refrigerator and a few other convenience items and keeping our cell phones charged. Lucky me, buying this “little monster” to run power tools 3 weeks before this ice storm blows in and creates havoc... I’m probably going to buy another one to have in case we get more bad weather (or if my mother in law comes to visit and needs to stay in the “she-she’d” out back.

So far we are happy with this product. I very much like its design. However I was concerned that the oil container that came with the generator has conflicting measurement on it. One side says one thing and the other says something different, hopefully it will be ok.

I bought this in June and used it for the first time after hurricane Ian. I used gas and only ran it for 8 hours. I like the option of using propane though. It ran fine and did what I wanted it to do, powering 2 refrigerators, 2 freezers, a few lamps, internet equipment, and charging devices for phone and laptop. No complaints except I wish there were a couple more 120 outlets (it only has 2).

We just received our WGen5300DFv. We were able to easily put the wheels on it. The oil and funnel included made it easy to get ready, and starting it is very easy. It runs very quiet for a generator. The pull up handle and large front wheels makes it very easy to move around. It's a great size also. Very happy with this generator and easy to follow instructions.

I bought this a month ago to prepare for the coming bad weather in Lawton ok. I was glad that I have the piece of mind in case electric went out ( blackout) which happen a couple of times. The good things in this generator is it runs in gas and propane.

We received this recently and LOVE IT! It’s way quieter than our previous one and more powerful! Super easy to start, plus the option for gas or propane will help us a lot no matter where we camp. Recently we lost power at home.., never will we have to decide what we’ll have running.., YEAH!! Thank you for making a reliable machine!

I got the WGen300DFv out of an emergency because my old generator started to fail and I needed off-site power. I was planning on returning it once my old generator was serviced and up and running but instead I found myself loving my new generator. This is definitely going on my RV when I go camping and its going on my truck when I need power off-site. Great product.

After I got it all set up, it started on the second pull! Seems like a solid little machine, but haven't had to use it in any long-term situation. The only con that I can speak of right now is that the oil fill position is very hard to get to and I seemed to put more oil on the ground than into the machine. Otherwise, I have zero complaints and am have full confidence in this machine.
