When Hurricane Beryl hit, we were without power for over 5 days. This generator was our saving grace. Not only did it give us countless hours of power, it was so easy to get it started! Not to mention that gas was scarce so it's ability to use propane WORKED LIKE A CHARM. I definitely recommend this product to everybody.

There are lots of different generator brands out there and a warranty is worthless if the company is no longer in business so I went with Westinghouse due to their existence since 1886! This paid off immediately as the generator arrived damaged and a single call to a helpful agent had a replacement on its way the same day. The replacement arrived OK and was very easy to unpack, assemble, and set up. A quick test run and break in finished my emergency preparations. This generator is for emergency use and I'm confident that when the time comes it will ready to go to work.

I just bought this dual fuel Westinghouse 5300DFv portable generator for an amazing price, considering all it's many features! It also was a breeze to assemble and the manual is easy to understand as well. Fast start, too! Make sure to do a proper break in on this beauty and it will serve you for years to come!

Live in Florida and bought this a year ago to have in case of power outages. This past week during Hurricane Milton was the first time I opened the box. Took about five minutes to install wheels and feet, fill up oil, gas it, and get it running. From there it worked great.

The bride bought this for me for Christmas. Read instruction manual..wheel & foot mount set up easy. Followed checklist for propane startup. Worked on first pull. Let it run an hour for break-in. Easy to deal w/; lots of instructions and example pictures/images. Very good.

I had this unit up and running within 30 minutes of delivery. packaging was good. Unit build quality seems very good. I used LPG for the 30 minute test run. I also used an L14 cord that splits the power to four separate 110 outlets. Everything worked flawlessly. I will test the unit with gas just to make sure it works. I do not plan on using gas as the primary fuel source as it does not store as well as LP. This unit is for emergency backup of critical items in my home during power outages. The unit ran very smoothly and showed no vibration issues.

The reason I bought this generator is cause I had read they were very good. I do lots of hunting and our hunting camp needed a generator I liked the fact that It runs on gasoline or propane. I myself have already used it on propane and really liked it. I plan to use it at my house when electricity goes out.

This generator worked well during the 9 hour power outage I had. It saved the food in my refrigerators and freezer. I like this generator. The only suggestion is that I wish the oil draining pipe could be a little longer. The plastic oil dip is a little too soft and the screw can be damaged easily.

Ordered this on a Friday and was delivered on Monday. Setup / assembly was easy, filled with oil and gas and it started on second pull. (haven't run it with propane yet). Unit ran well through the break in procedure. Am confident this unit will power everything needed in my house the next time power goes out, which happens fairly frequently with storms here.

Just purchased generator for emergency power at home. Want to run on propane so we don't have gasoline stored in the shed. We use propane for other devices but not gasoline. I put oil in the generator and it started up on the 4th pull. It's a little loud, but powered tools that I plugged into it nicely. A good buy.
