I bought this same model a year ago and decided to get another one because I liked it so much. Very easy to use and great features. I used the first one at my remote, off-grid cabin and it is great. I had to change the LP nozzle for the high altitude but the support team was very helpful. This one is staying at my home for emergency backup purposes. My neighbor bought one as well. I did my homework on these models and they were one of the highest rated ones and the price point was excellent

Purchased the WGen5300DFv to have available in case winter storms get bad this year. This model has everything we needed out of the box - including an oil funnel, which is a great feature I'm pleased to see added, and the LP hose and regulator. Very difficult to find this feature set in a dual fuel model at such a great price point. I plan to use the unit with extension cords, but with the L14-30 outlet you can easily connect directly to your home panel, which we might do in the future. Load testing went great and the generator didn't skip a beat. You need to be prepared for the noise - open frame traditional generators are not known for being quiet, but that should come with the territory if you're buying a generator, so this was not unexpected. So far maintenance has been pretty easy as far as the first oil change, although I recommend making a custom funnel to direct the oil out of the drain plug to ease cleanup. I'm satisfied with the features and power of the unit, and if we need it for an emergency, I'm convinced it will perform as expected without issue.

Last mount here in Katy Texas we were hit by a tornado and my in-laws let us use there Wgen5300DFcv and it ran the essentials and a portable A/C unit keeping my 10-month-old happy. This past Saturday I went and Bought the Wgen5300DFcv in preparation for hurricane Beryl. I recommend this generator to everyone

I bought this last month and so far it has been just as I expected. Although I wish it had electric start, it starts easily without it. I also like the fact that I can use it with propane instead of gasoline. Another thing I liked was the price. Comparable units at other stores were a lot more expensive.

Was looking for something to get me through occasional power outages in a rural area, but didn’t want to have to deal with fuel stabilizer for gasoline all the time. It works like it says and was super easy to get started up. I am happy with my purchase.

I love the dual fuel. I mostly have used propane and it doesn't give off a lot of fumes. My BBQ grill gives off more. It starts right up with about 3 pulls. I can run my fridge, sump pump, floor freezer in garage, 2 TV's, 4 lamps and two desktop computers with zero issues. Its not as loud as I thought it would be as my past generators were. Love the wheels and handle. Very simple to move around and place. I have 3 - 20LB propane tanks. I can run this for days.

I love the way this unit is put together...Very easy to understand to controls and very easy to assemble. And YES....it has a handle. None of the photos I saw in the ads showed a handle...thought I would have to buy one somewhere, but it flips up and tucks down... makes it very nice to use. Love to fact that it use both gas and propane... So happy to have this one!!

I bought this generator over a month ago and it went together very easy. Instructions were clear and easy to understand. It had all the features that I would need for a generator and the dual fuel was a plus. I only started it for now, but will be using it a lot this summer and should get many years of service with it, because it appeared to be very well made.

Easy to use with 5 gallon propane tanks. Have not used with gas and do not plan to because gas is a gross mess. Arrived dented. The oil dipstick is cheap plastic, trying to find a metal dipstick with a magnet. Used the same motor oil I use in my SUVs: 5-30 Ultra Platinum and a few squirts of Hyperlube Zinc Replacement. Bought for backup in case the electricity goes out in the winter I can still run heaters and a stove top burner. The noise would be obnoxious though if running at night.
