After my purchase it only took ten minutes to add the feet, wheels and add the oil. I added some gasoline and connected the propane tank. Following the start up instructions I was quite surprised to see it start on the very first pull of the starter rope.

generator suits storm needs very well. the duel fuel feature is a great asset and easy to use. the co shut off is a great peace of mind. the running wattage is perfect for a temporary power station in the case of a storm outage and the wheels work great for portability.

I haven't started the generator up yet. I just unboxed it, and assembled the wheel kit. I found a few small issues when unboxing it. The first one was there seems to be a small amount of oil all over the machine I am assuming to help prevent rust. The second issue is I noticed the bottom of the generator had some scratches on it. It looks like it has been dragged across the floor scuff some of the paint. The other two issues was the fuel gauge that is mounted on the top isnt lined up straight and the plastic that covers the face of the generator has already been removed. All minor issues, anxious to start it up and see how it runs.

I bought this to run my camper and my welder, and it works great for both. We camp for 2 weekends a year off the grid and I had no problem running my 30A camper a/c and 2 air compressors blowing up intertubes. Also ran for almost 12 hours on a tank of gas.

I bought this 2weeks ago. Right out of the box it ran in first pull. Easy install of bumpers and wheels. Add the supplied oil hooked it up to propane and first pull start ran perfect. Did the hour break in. No issues. Used it once since and started on first pull and powered tools and air compressor without a hiccup.

We bought this to power our home freezer and refridgerator due to many power failures. We live in the country and are Senior Citizens and need this reassurance of having this generator to keep us out of the dark. I also can use this for my oxgen for my copd.

Did a lot of research before deciding on the WGen5300DFV, Took it thru the break-in period did great. Not as loud as I expected. Purchased a 25-foot 10/3 Conntek GEN1688 L14-30P to multi-Outlet, 30 Amp 4-Prong power cord to go with the generator. Note: the manual does not make it clear, but you must set the voltage switch to 240 volts to activate the L14-30R receptacle.

We purchased this in Mar. but just opened the box to put it together today. I think it will still be good, but the metal cover over the starter is bent. Not sure if it happened during the delivery or during the production of the product. It looks like a sturdy piece of equipment, I just hope the dent doesn’t deter trying to start it.

After a 7-hour blackout on a 100-plus-degree day, watching my two-year-old daughter trying to sleep in a 90 degree bedroom I was done. Bought this generator the next day and it's just what we needed. Obviously can't run the entire house, but will get us by through a California Central Valley summer I'm sure will bring us regular blackouts. Easy to operate and the dual fuel option, and multiple 120V outlets made this a no-brainer for the price

It was pretty funny cause it wasn’t starting and wasn’t starting and then we finally found the fuel switch and once it got turned on BOOM!! It cranked right over. It lowers the trailer good. We haven’t used it as a back up for our house yet but I’m sure it’ll run the basics for that just fine.
