I bought this generator last week and it was delivered promptly. It has great features and I am glad it has the ability to use both gasoline or propane. I also like that I can connect it to an RV, which will make camping fun. It is sturdy and was easy to assemble. The instructions in the operations manual were clear and easy to understand. It is also a great addition to my workshop. I highly recommend this generator, especially if you need access to power during a power outage.

We bought this generator in preparation for predicted bad weather. The set up was easy! My 11 yr old mounted the front isolation legs and the rear wheels. After we filled with oil and gas, it started right up and ran well. We had no trouble loading the generator and monitoring it's performance. The hook up tp LP gas was easy and performed well on alternative fuel.

Came just in time during hurricane beryl and I opened box and got it up and running in less than 15 minutes(of course reading manual) I did however experience a stripped oil filler cap that resulted in it not closing all the way and leaking motor oil. Idk how or where to find the size of the oil filter cap so I can get a new one.

I very much appreciated the labeling and instructions that came with my generator. I found the info/tags easy to follow. Assembling the wheels/legs was a snap. Plus, I was able to quickly fill the unit with oil and gas and it was running in no time. I even ran it on propane and got a "charge" out of doing that. Great product with a well thought out documentation packet! BTW, the generator package looks great and is smartly designed with controls, etc. right where can see and/or access them. I like the on-board volt meter- a real hot item for my engineering side. Plus, the "pop up" handle is slick. Now, I am ready to use it during my next project or power outage- and my wife will be happy since she will have power at home. When the "wifey" is happy, everybody is happy.

I bought this generator primarily for camping. It’s a little noisier than I might like but it’s good trade off for 5000+ watts. It’s well made and easy to set up. I also love the idea of propane. My truck is a diesel and I chose this model because I like the idea of using my propane tanks on the trailer to run the generator. Not a big fan of carrying a bunch of 5 gallon containers of gas and or diesel fuel.

I was intimidated at first in operating a generator but this Westinghouse generator was easy to use. I like the features that is has in informing you when an oil change is needed and the maintenance log that comes with it. I am confident it will do the job when the need arises. Great price for a dual generator!

Purchased this about a month ago and used it the same day it arrived due to a 19 hour power outage. Timing couldn't have been better. I use propane and decided to use the pull start the first time. It started on the second pull. Very nice unit and decent price. Haven't tried the remote yet.

Every year I tell myself I am going to buy a generator and every year I don't. This year is different. I came across this Westinghouse WGen5300DFV at my local Sam's. I liked its compact size, and the ability to power it with gasoline or propane. I have not used it in a necessary situation but I have ran it through various trials and have come away impressed. I would give it 5 stars but I have not used it long -term yet. I can't wait for my power to go out!!!

Just got this generator and it started right away after I added the oil and gas. Ran good from gas to LPG no big deal to switch over Ran my Travel Trailer A/C with no bogging down. Hope it last for a long time. Will do another review later in camping season.

I've used it for 30 hours so far. Nothing to complaint. Starts instantly, runs stably. Power output is very satisfying. I can use furnace, 2 fridge, microwave and all the lightings simultaneously. Only reason for 4 star instead of 5 is it is hard to get all the gas out of the tank for storage. Normally for all small engines, I let them run until out of gas. But this generator shut down automatically with some gas left in the tank. Took me a while to get all the gas out.
