Easy assembly All the parts came with it as promised and were in logical packaging with instructions Took longer to start than I'd hoped but once started it ran well. VERY fuel efficient. Ran it fo 3 hours on less than a gallon on the oil that came with it then changed to synthetic. Wheels around well. Pleasantly surprised on the noise level. A good size for its power capacity. The only concern is that the "pulsed" more than I thought ideal and seems to struggle to power a 1500W space heater (no fan). Hopefully it will be OK. Ed

This is our first generator and it has worked flawlessly. We have used it on quite a few camping trips with our toy hauler in weather ranging from 60 degrees to 115 degrees. It works great in all conditions and is very easy to use and maintain. Highly recommended product, you will not be disappointed.

I purchased the WGen5300DFcv a few months ago for storm and weather preparedness. I just used it after a storm left us without power. Powers all the essentials, easy start and maintenance. In addition, also runs on propane! This is 10/10; certainly a great purchase and investment.

We use the Westinghouse 5300dfv when we boondock at the lake or at a place where there is no power hookups. Works great to charge batteries and run the ac when needed. Also it is a great price point for what it is. It's not quiet but it's also not that loud from 25 feet away.

As for your example, it's more like we bought it, expecting delivery, 04/21/22! the generator arrived today, 04/14/22; just as we are facing extreme bad weather!! So, the generator is giving us "peace of mind"; not knowing what this weather forecast is going to bring us!!

I just received the generator via FedEx. There was a little damage from shipping but only superficial. After filling it with gas, oil and chocking it, the first pull started it and it purred like a kitten. I think it runs quieter than most of the other generators I’ve seen.

Bought this in preparation for hurricane season and ended up needing to power my house for 24 hours. This generator was a life savor. It was easy to use and it fired right up after adding gas and oil. I’ve done one oil change so far and it was very simple. Overall great product for the money.

I got a chance to use this string a power outage. When I was done with the generator I turned it off and stored it in my garage. I didn’t shut off the fuel line. The next morning I work up to gas all over in my garage. Fuel leaked out of the carburetor and through the filter assembly all night. The rubber parts of the air filter swelled up and probably won’t fit back in the housing. Pretty annoying thing to happen after first use. The machine did fine powering my fridge and freezer. Started up easy. Haven’t run in lpg yet.

I bought this back before winter for dual purposes, first to have in case of a power outage and also to power our camper if we went to a site that didn't offer power. So far I have not used it much, just pulled out to run our camper a few times to run gas through the generator. I do like having the dual fuel (gas/propane) option because I typically have propane bottles sitting around full without the worry of gas going bad through the winter. Overall I think this generator is good for the money I spent to get it.

Everything I was looking for in a generator for a small home, especially the dual fuel feature. Very well written owner's manual. excellent easy to understand step by step instructions and safety warnings. Started easy and makes less noise than my lawnmower. looking forward to completing the total break-in and first time real use.
