Plenty of power!

I bought this generator today because my old one kept tripping the breaker. This one has plenty of power and has a dedicated RV TT plug with it's own 30 amp breaker. I ran the AC, Microwave, Refrigerator and coffee pot all at the same time, no issues!

Compact design

I bought yesterday, unboxed today. I'm happy it came with a bottle of oil with the exact amount so the level was between high and low. the wheels and rubber feet were easy to assemble. it came with a wrench, and spark plug wrench, and adaptor for using propane.

Great value

Purchased this generator this past weekend. It had great reviews and seems to be a good value $$$ wise. The wheels and feet were easy to install. It is easy enough to maneuver around. We will sleep better knowing it is here and ready to go if and when the need arises.

love the dual fuel feature

I bought this after going through an extended period of time without power which led to throwing out the contents of my refrigerator. if was easy to assemble the feet and legs. it ran well for the limited amount to time I tried it out using propane. I hope I won't need to use it very often but I'm glad I have it just in case. I was reasonably priced for the features.

Excellent generator for RV

We bought this generator for our camper and planning on using it for the first time this weekend. Of course we tested it out in the backyard first on light loads since the camper is at a storage facility. It seems to perform very well on propane, keeping in mind if we need to run it for heavier loads, we can use gasoline. So far we are thrilled with this purchase and the price was unbeatable when compared to similar models. It's heavier than I thought it would be, but this thing is solid. I'll take solid and a little heaviness over cheaply made products that will not last. It's not super quiet, but not obnoxiously loud either. Overall we are extremely satisfied and I will come back to add on to this review after we use it for our camper, if allowed.

You get what you pay for which is not bad - 4.5/5

The generator itself has worked first time out of the box - kudos. Like most things the instructions are sub par. The quick start guide is alright but leaves some clarity to be desired (by anyone using it except perhaps the engineer?) In any event, it works, was relatively straightforward. The plastic see through shell on the cardboard box it dumb (makes it harder to store this or move the box) and the serial number and metal frame on mine was pretty scratched up - the serial number should be etched into the metal somewhere. All in all, this is at least a 4.5/5 so far - the price is a bit much for what it is - but so far I am content wit this. The oil filter funnel is a MUST include - which it does - but if you lose it, good luck. The amount of oil it comes with is (after reading the manual) the maximum capacity of oil, so, would be nice for it to say that on the quick start guide (just use the bottle included) instead of the ominous "don't overfill" but not stating what that amount would be. I will update if this thing goes to crud but so far so good

WGEN5300DFV

I purchased this Generator for piece of mind during an outage, thankfully I've not had cause to ise it yet! Setup was veryeasy and straightforward, after filling the oil and putting in a gallon of gas, I tried pulling the cord...nothing. However the second pull was a charm! So although it's not been used during an aoutahe I have had load on Gennie and she runs smooth. I bring her oit once a month start it and let it run for 5-6 minutes just to make sure she stays alert. For the price this was an awesome buy and because its dual fuel, makes it twice as nice

Starts right up

I bought this 6 weeks ago and I've already used it twice. Works great and isn't very loud. Easy to understand setup instructions. Haven't run it on propane yet but on gas it's very good. Only down side is the weight. 120lbs empty and around 150lbs full of gas and oil.

Awesome Generator

Purchased about 2 months ago & have only used it 1 time, so my review is somewhat limited. Assembly was smooth except one hole for the wheel axle wasn't large enough. Had to drill it out slightly to fit. Runs smooth & am comforted knowing it will run on dual fuel. Like the number of options it has for outlets. I have purchased brand new gas powered items before & knew to add the engine oil before starting it, but felt like the assembly instructions SHOULD HAVE more clearly mentioned this for novice buyers. Also, instead of having to read through all 28 pages of the manual, include a "Quick Start" guide.

Seems Good Overall

Bout this a month ago, product was shipped to my house. Product box was heavy, so heavy in fact that the postal delivery service just chunked it in the driveway. Despite damage to the box, the generator itself was pretty sturdy, and unpacking proved that no real damage to the unit occurred. I added fuel to it, started it up per instruction and it was humming in no time. Tested the poweroutput which was stable and what I bargained for. Haven't tried the propane feature, but it comes with the hook up for it, so pretty much all you need is the tank of propane. It uses normal 4 cycle 10W30 oil, a whole can of it. It looks well built and sturdy, has a handle for ease of use to tote around. My only complaint is it does not have a GFCI switch on the 120V plugs, this would have been an added selling point for this model and would have been icing on the cake. Sadly, only other way more expensive models had them, so boo. Other than that it seems to be working as intended.
