We bought this generator two weeks ago to replace our old generator from 1999. We love its' dual fuel capability, smaller profile, solid all-around steel tube frame, fuel tank gauge and ESPECIALLY the fact that it has three types of receptacles- a dual 120 or 240 30 amp receptacle, 120 volt 30 amp receptacle for connecting to a bypass switch and two 120 volt 20 watt receptacles. A main circuit breaker, voltage selector switch and digital information center round out an impressive set of features! We haven't run it yet- so the jury is out on it's overall performance, but are confident it will run smoothly and be quieter than our old generator!

I just bought this generator and I’m very satisfied with it so far. At this price I really didn’t expect the quality I got, I half expected something flimsy and oblong. The best part for me is the propane option. I don’t expect to run it often, so not having to worry about gas going bad and gumming up the carb is awesome.

I haven't had to use this in an emergency yet, but fired it up on propane to test it out and was very impressed with easy of set-up, use and transportability. It's a heavy unit, but wheels and handle make it fairly easy to move around. Would definitely recommend for a little peace of mind.

I purchase this generator a few days ago. First generator I've owned. Unboxed and assemble it today with no issues. Filled with supplied .74 qt oil and 5 gallons of treated ethanol-free fuel as directed and started with an easy pull. Idled smoothly and for the most part surprisingly quite for a 274cc 4-Stroke OHV engine. Easy to read digital VFT meter is a nice touch. I feel prepared for any power outages Mother Nature could throw at me.

We’ve used this generator a couple of times now and it runs great. I was most impressed with how easy the pull start is! The very first time we started it, we added the gas and oil and expected it to take a few pulls to get going. Nope! It started on the first pull - easy as pie. Nice to have a generator that I can start by myself.

I haven’t used it yet, but it has great features at a good price. With the inadequacy of the Texas power grid, and Greg A’s inability to stand up to power companies, I’m glad I have a back up in case we loose power for multiple days in the winter again.

I purchased this generator as an option to have for a series of "planned outages" that our electrical company was planning. It wasn't the power rating I wanted, but it was the most powerful one available at the time and, for the money, I figured I'd go ahead and purchase it, then maybe use it for camping once I am able to find the one I truly want for the home. The "planned outages" wound up being delayed a few months, and I never bothered to test it until it was finally needed. So far, the generator works as described. One thing that was not listed in the Sam's Club details was the "DB RATING". This is extremely important!!! I wound up finding what I thought it was a reliable number on the Westinghouse site, but after running it, I found out that was NOT the case. This generator is EXTREMELY loud for the amount of power it puts out. The other issue I noticed is that I have to run the choke at a slight open the whole time otherwise the engine sputters. We were running on gasoline, with the plan to hook up a propane tank and run it for a few minutes afterwards to make sure that the carburetor doesn't get gummed up. I will probably sell this one and get the one I want if I'm going to have the noise no matter what. I'm disappointed in myself for not hooking it up when I first got it and testing it out. I'm stuck with it now only using it one time. Everyone learn from this one please...

I bought this just yesterday and cannot attest to functionality yet. However, I am impressed with the quality of material and buildout. Easy to install feet and wheels, components and parts do not feel cheap. Came with everything needed to start it up minus the fuel. Will break in the my generator for an hour later today.

I bought this unit some time ago and just recently got it up and running. The one thing that continues to impress me about this generator is just how reliable it is. Of course it's made by Westinghouse so I was assuming it was going to be as dependable as all of its other appliances. So far I have NOT been disappointed in its performance.

I bought this in case of power outages, emergencies, etc., I'm so glad we have peace of mind. We started it up, which was simple enough, and it wasn't terribly loud, which is great. I love that it can use both gas and propane. I'll have to test it out when the power goes out to update my review about appliances, hours, etc. Otherwise, it seems great.
