This is my second Dyson. I would never buy any other brand. It cleans up dog hair without any problem. That it is always charged is another plus. The battery on my old Dyson, which is now moved to my second floor as my new one has a wider head, lasted 5 years on its original battery. It is try amazing.

I got my first Dyson V8 many years ago and it still works as it did when brand new. I got the Outsize because it was larger and I have a large house with dogs and cats. The suction is amazing and it picks up all the pet hair and I am always amazed at the amount of dirt it picks up, on a clean looking carpet. I also bought an additional battery so I would not run out while cleaning the whole house but I have never needed it. I have allergies and I used to start sneezing with my other vacuums but never when I use my Dysons. Another plus is whith Dyson is they give you so many attachments and they offer a variety of packages so you can get as few or as many as you need, I LOVE THAT. In summary I think Dyson are the best

We bought this several weeks ago to handle the fur fall out of our five cats. We had recently moved into a larger home with multiple deep pile area rugs. The vacuum is spot on for addressing our needs. The run time is 40-45 minutes. The canister empties easily. Swapping out the attachments is simple. This is a large cordless machine and much more powerful than the less priced vacuums.

Great vacuum for large dogs/long dog hair! First charge took a while and it seems silly that Dyson hasn’t figured out a workaround for needing to hold the power button down the entire time you’re cleaning but quickly got used to it. The convenience, quality & efficiency are worth it!

Had to make an "emergency" vacuum purchase so did little pre-research. So happy! Love that is automatically changes on its own according to the different flooring type.Super long charge life and it's hefty but I like that actually. The hanging of it has yet to happen which seems to be the most annoying aspect as I don't have an ideal place near an outlet.

Produces great suction for a cordless. Not as heavy as some would indicate. Makes smaller work much easier than pulling out the regular vacuum. Not sure about the battery performance as only using in between regular cleaning and only on for 30 minutes at most. Really like the unit.

Family members rave about Dyson vacuums. This was my first experience. I purchased the Outsize Dyson and generally am okay with it. I was taken aback when I realized that I must continue to hold the power button the entire time I'm vacuuming which gets to be tedious and painful. The 3 speeds are okay but I find that I use the low and medium rather than the red hot speed, which uses up battery time quickly. This is NOT my first battery operated vacuum but for the price I paid for this Dyson, I guess I expected it to be more efficient.

I am extremely disappointed in the false advertising for this product. I purchased this because the specs list 120 minutes of run time with 2 swappable lithium-ion batteries however after opening the package there is only 1 battery that is included. I'm surprised a company like Dyson would allow this type of false advertising. The 2 batteries are the only reason I purchased this so I will be returning.

I ordered the Dyson Outsize Extra and only received one battery when the Sam's Club advertisement and Dyson's website both state that there are two batteries included! This is the email I wrote to Dyson: Dear Dyson, I recently purchased a Dyson Outsize Extra from my local retailer. However, I did not receive the second battery that is advertised to be included with the product. Your website and promotional materials state that the Dyson Outsize Extra comes with two swappable batteries, offering up to 120 minutes of runtime. I would appreciate it if you could clarify this discrepancy and provide a solution. Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter. And here is Dyson's reply: Hi there, We are sorry to hear that you are facing issues with the missing of your order. We truly understand how you must be feeling. Please be informed that if you had purchased the machine directly from us, we would have surely helped you with the complimentary parts. The retailer you have purchased your machine from may not have this offer. However, if you think the offer was available at that retailer, we request you to contact the retailer for the best resolution. Kind regards, Tilak - Voice of the Customer Specialist What does that even mean - "the missing of your order". Dyson is laying the blame for this on Sam's Club! This is very disappointing. Sam's Club - change your advertisement that still says two swappable batteries.

Bad description. Only one battery included. Without the second battery it is not a great value and will be returning. Also says there is a power button lock and I don’t see that either.
