This is my second Dyson. I would never buy any other brand. It cleans up dog hair without any problem. That it is always charged is another plus. The battery on my old Dyson, which is now moved to my second floor as my new one has a wider head, lasted 5 years on its original battery. It is try amazing.

I got my first Dyson V8 many years ago and it still works as it did when brand new. I got the Outsize because it was larger and I have a large house with dogs and cats. The suction is amazing and it picks up all the pet hair and I am always amazed at the amount of dirt it picks up, on a clean looking carpet. I also bought an additional battery so I would not run out while cleaning the whole house but I have never needed it. I have allergies and I used to start sneezing with my other vacuums but never when I use my Dysons. Another plus is whith Dyson is they give you so many attachments and they offer a variety of packages so you can get as few or as many as you need, I LOVE THAT. In summary I think Dyson are the best

I absolutely love my Dyson outsize vacuum and all the extra connector pieces that were included. I’m a busy mom juggling multiple things at a time to include a 2yr old and this vacuum has allowed me more flexibility throughout my home. My little one loves to follow and help me clean so the cordless idea is fantastic and Mom approved. Switching from house to my truck is even more of a reason to get this item cause I am able to clean my truck out from crumbs, grass, dirt and dog fur much easier and quickly. The charge holds very well while cleaning in and around my home. You have to get one!

This vacuum replaces my Dyson V6 which still woks good. This model is so much better . Powerful with equal performance on carpet and hardwood floors. So easy to empty the oversize container ( unlike the V6model) With two Golden Retrievers vacuuming is a breeze. Don’t miss having to remove dog hair from the brush bar( it cleans itself I’ve owned 3 Dysons this machine is just wonderful .Thanks Mr Dyson.

If there were 10 stars, I would pick that for my rating. I love this vacuum. I had a Dyson pet vacuum for years, but this one is almost like a full-sized vacuum cleaner. The power is great, it's easy to empty, and I hardly ever us my whole house vac any more. I believe it gets more out of my carpet than my regular vacuum does. I am very happy with this product!!!

After much research this looked like a great fit for me. I am very happy with the size, weight and handling. While the head is large and it is heavy, once on the floor it glides smooth over all my surfaces, hard wood, tile and carpet with ease and that big head just keeps going so I can get half the house done in one shot and cleaning it out is a breeze. A lot of cash for a vacuum, but I am very happy. Expect this to last a long time with the build quality.

I’ve used it for a month and think it’s just ok. Suction seems good—wish I could turn off the rollers for hardwood or at least had the option. Think it’s heavy and dumb that you have to hold the button to keep running. Will likely give carpal tunnel issues to anyone using a lot! On the other hand, the trigger is very touchy while emptying the basket and I keep accidentally turning it on when bumping the trigger when emptying the basket or disconnecting the attachment. Wish it had a light on the roller head. Many things I would change if I could have tries it out before purchasing (was a gift!)

I am extremely disappointed in the false advertising for this product. I purchased this because the specs list 120 minutes of run time with 2 swappable lithium-ion batteries however after opening the package there is only 1 battery that is included. I'm surprised a company like Dyson would allow this type of false advertising. The 2 batteries are the only reason I purchased this so I will be returning.

I ordered the Dyson Outsize Extra and only received one battery when the Sam's Club advertisement and Dyson's website both state that there are two batteries included! This is the email I wrote to Dyson: Dear Dyson, I recently purchased a Dyson Outsize Extra from my local retailer. However, I did not receive the second battery that is advertised to be included with the product. Your website and promotional materials state that the Dyson Outsize Extra comes with two swappable batteries, offering up to 120 minutes of runtime. I would appreciate it if you could clarify this discrepancy and provide a solution. Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter. And here is Dyson's reply: Hi there, We are sorry to hear that you are facing issues with the missing of your order. We truly understand how you must be feeling. Please be informed that if you had purchased the machine directly from us, we would have surely helped you with the complimentary parts. The retailer you have purchased your machine from may not have this offer. However, if you think the offer was available at that retailer, we request you to contact the retailer for the best resolution. Kind regards, Tilak - Voice of the Customer Specialist What does that even mean - "the missing of your order". Dyson is laying the blame for this on Sam's Club! This is very disappointing. Sam's Club - change your advertisement that still says two swappable batteries.

Bad description. Only one battery included. Without the second battery it is not a great value and will be returning. Also says there is a power button lock and I don’t see that either.
