I got my first Dyson V8 many years ago and it still works as it did when brand new.  I got the Outsize because it was larger and I have a large house with dogs and cats.  The suction is amazing and it picks up all the pet hair and I am always amazed at the amount of dirt it picks up, on a clean looking carpet.  I also bought an additional battery so I would not run out while cleaning the whole house but I have never needed it.  I have allergies and I used to start sneezing with my other vacuums but never when I use my Dysons.  Another plus is whith Dyson is they give you so many attachments and they offer a variety of packages so you can get as few or as many as you need, I LOVE THAT. In summary I think Dyson are the best

Dyson Vacuum is the Best

This is my second Dyson.  I would never buy any other brand.  It cleans up dog hair without any problem.  That it is always charged is another plus.  
The battery on my old Dyson, which is now moved to my second floor as my new one has a wider head, lasted 5 years on its original battery.  It is try amazing.

Outstanding Quality

This is the 2nd cordless vacuum that I have purchased from Dyson. I love them I have my old plug in Dyson animal vacuum upstairs that still works great. I own 3 cats and a dog. Love it. Works great. Well worth the money

Power and ease of use.

I bought this a month ago to replace a Dyson V6 animal. The V6 lasted about twelve years, but was too expensive to fix.
 the oversize model is much better for me. There always seems to be a lot of hair to be picked up in my house. With the V6 it would take maybe three trips to empty the canister for one cleaning. The oversize unit does this in one shot and is much easier to empty. Also not having to hassle with hair wound around the pickup roller is very nice.  I really like the ECO setting for throw rugs, works like a charm. My wife thinks it's a little heavy, but she rarely vacuums so it's not an issue. Very happy with this purchase.

Great Vacuum!

Until I bought this vacuum, I was not someone who enjoyed vacuuming (despite owning and using two conventional Dyson vacuum cleaners). This vacuum cleans BETTER than it’s corded relatives, because it “magically” cleans my long hair and my dogs’ long fur out of the rollers, it is much lighter, and I don’t have to fight the cord! Plus when I need to vacuum the stairs or other small spaces, I don’t have to fight the unwieldy hose! My only regret - that I didn’t buy one sooner!!!

You’ll LOVE vacuuming!

I purchased this Dyson a little over a month ago and have been absolutely thrilled with the results. I Have been using an earlier, Dyson For over five years, which made me return to Dyson when I Needed  a new one. I love the extra large tank and the extra large vacuum head. It makes a huge difference in vacuuming and sucks up everything in its path.

Yea Dyson!

I purchased this about a month ago and it’s fantastic. I’m ocd about cleaning but unfortunately I’ve been going through cancer treatments which makes me weak and very tired. My husband has been taking over many chores but doesn’t vacuum as often as I do. My canister vac is too heavy for me to pull around for now so this Dyson was a life changer for me. It works great on all my types of carpeting and I can use it with no problems. It works just as well as my canister, maybe even better. I highly recommend this vacuum. Attachments are very useful too.

Lightweight and easy to use

This is my 5th Dyson and they just keep getting better all the time. I've given away my older ones but kept my V11 to use on the second floor of my home. Although this version is heavier to use - you'll get used to it. The large canister is a blessing because I only have to empty it once instead of 3 times with my other one. Not only do I have four large dogs, I also have sandy soil in my yard. Any Dyson pulverizes the dirt into a fine powder which clogs up the vacuum. I have not had this problem with the Outsize because it doesn't clog. I love this vacuum!

Powerful!!

If there were 10 stars, I would pick that for my rating.  I love this vacuum.  I had a Dyson pet vacuum for years, but this one is almost like a full-sized vacuum cleaner.  The power is great, it's easy to empty, and I hardly ever us my whole house vac any more.  I believe it gets more out of my carpet than my regular vacuum does.  I am very happy with this product!!!

Dyson Outsize is the Bomb!!!

This is the second Dyson I have owned and I love it but I have one complaint. I now have the larger Dyson and when I try to disconnect the bottom wand to empty the canister it is quite difficult to detach as I push the button in on the wand.
Anyone else have this issue?

I’ve used it for a month and think it’s just ok.
Suction seems good—wish I could turn off the rollers for hardwood or at least had the option.
Think it’s heavy and dumb that you have to hold the button to keep running. Will likely give carpal tunnel issues to anyone using a lot!  On the other hand, the trigger is very touchy while emptying the basket and I keep accidentally turning it on when bumping the trigger when emptying the basket or disconnecting the attachment.
Wish it had a light on the roller head.
Many things I would change if I could have tries it out before purchasing (was a gift!)
